Only reason this BS is killing other players is because at this time of the game a four step combo of Crush Armor took most of the health from cloth/light armor wearers. The rest of the BS play... eg heals, cc use etc, its poor.

So you can be a Necromancer at full health and have an Assassin or Bearshaman come and instantly kill you because of their high chance to "finish" you, while casters don't get finshers. Not to mention that all Melee got uber range on their combos so once they start, they can still hit you even if you are 200ft away.. like we see @ 1:25 in this video

I agree with worldofwarcraftfordu, there is actually a reason for wow have 12million players, the key to sucsess is the graphics, wow got easily driven graphics while u need a computer for 30k to play AoC on "Normal" graphic... I played AoC for about 2months, but I quitted because it was way to laggy, I think the makers of aoc have kinda found out that, and is trying to make it more playable with bader computers, and reducing lag and all such in upcoming patches

haha wow pvp isnt mostly based on gear im a lvl 80 enhancement shaman killing 80 epic geared mages hunter dk's but not all dk's and my gear is only blue! got 1epic item and 1 lvl 80 blue item but the rest is lvl 78and down blue items

IMO aoc was a good game, but it didnt reach up to its standards because A, The graphics were so good that you needed a high end computer to play it. B. It was too complicated to be fun for people who just want to hit 3 buttons ad be done with killing something.
WoW is more popular because they dont have that good graphics and imo graphics doesnt matter too much as long as the gameplay is good, and the game is very simple so you dont need alot of skills to be good.
AOC is 100 times better then wow in all ways, the reason why people is playing wow instead is becuase you need a REALLY good computer to Play AOC. and wow has worse grapich then halo 1...
I must say, even Guild Wars has better PvP then WoW. What makes this even better, is if you have friends that play with you. This game has no equal right now. Great job Funcom!

Um, I havent played this game yet, a friend reccomended I try it which I still might but... I was watching that and, well it doesn't look like anything special, just a guy hitting another guy with a stick, you can hardly tell when hes using a special attack or move/ability and it just looks a bit boring.

You have been a slave and survives with sticks and such yes, but when you leave Tortage Island you either blast enemies with magic, shoots multiple arrows through the throat, slicing the throat with daggers or chop heads of with greatswords :) Special attacks = Fatality's = chopping heads, slicing throats. Just build your character up and it wil later spill loads of blood from your foes. Personally i think what i just said sounds stupid, but... anyways :)
Ah ok, well that sounds a little better, like multiple arrows etc, but theres also one more thing I dont quite understand.
With wow (yes i know its a bit like comparing an apple to an orange) you can easily tell the difference between class's as they all look completely different, but with this, well the priest, warrior and bear shaman all looked completely the same to me.
So, at endgame do you get more, "fancy" armor, or is it still just steel looking stuff that any class can use lol..
Its not a game filled with dwarfs and elves. Nor with armor with thunder. Hyboria is more like a real life combat, but i dont have experience in endgame im afraid. Though, i have seen multiple classes with different types of armor that looks brutal, but not with like magic lighting from it... We dont need to wear fashion clothing to kill people, we wear real brutal armor!
Hmm yeah, the "we wear real brutal armor!" bit is the part that gets me, see... People covered in Steel really dont look threatening to me.. At all... They look like there in the old old british army or something.
i have the game and had an acocount for like 1 week.. I disliked it alot. I got to distracted by PVP i couldnt level. Everyone attacks everyone and the combat system was boring... There was hardly anything to except wait on global cooldowns. I don't play anymore. And there are 11 million others that dont play anymore too. WoW has 100x more endgame content then AoC could ever think about. So people left wow started chars in AoC leveled to 80 to find it sucked... LOL@ THEM!!

i think i am good where i am.. They may be releasing new content but... (A friend played till 80) the pvp system wasn't fun for him and i have played his char. He has a HOX and i agree that the pvp system wasnt fun for me either. I just didnt enjoy it. I mean the finishing moves are fine and all and the bewbs are a plus. But just not my cup of tea. I am brainwashed by WOW i guess. Won't be playing it much anymore either. Content in it is getting to easy and the pvp is getting a little one sided.

That's what happened to me; I tried AoC and didn't really like it (Well, I can't say I didn't like it, since I don't know a damn about the game and I was low-level...) so I went back to WoW...but since WotLK, WoW is too easy, and boring, repetitive, etc...
i havent played WAR but just the casting mechanics i am used to and the game style i am used to i really like and i didnt like AOC all that much. My ranger got to like level 16 or 20 and it seemed just mildly different

This game is awesome. Wow is good also. But the pvp on aoc is pretty fucking awesome as well. If they would just balance the class's it would be about perfect. I play wow and aoc continuously. Have no plans of quitting either one. So yeah...

WoW is for noobs, AoC is for skilled people.
WoW PvP is mostly based in gear.

Um, I havent played this game yet, a friend reccomended I try it which I still might but... I was watching that and, well it doesn't look like anything special, just a guy hitting another guy with a stick, you can hardly tell when hes using a special attack or move/ability and it just looks a bit boring.
Please dont flame me, instead please tell me what its actually like, I still want to try this game ^^

You have been a slave and survives with sticks and such yes, but when you leave Tortage Island you either blast enemies with magic, shoots multiple arrows through the throat, slicing the throat with daggers or chop heads of with greatswords :) Special attacks = Fatality's = chopping heads, slicing throats. Just build your character up and it wil later spill loads of blood from your foes. Personally i think what i just said sounds stupid, but... anyways :)

Ah ok, well that sounds a little better, like multiple arrows etc, but theres also one more thing I dont quite understand.
With wow (yes i know its a bit like comparing an apple to an orange) you can easily tell the difference between class's as they all look completely different, but with this, well the priest, warrior and bear shaman all looked completely the same to me.
So, at endgame do you get more, "fancy" armor, or is it still just steel looking stuff that any class can use lol..

Its not a game filled with dwarfs and elves. Nor with armor with thunder. Hyboria is more like a real life combat, but i dont have experience in endgame im afraid. Though, i have seen multiple classes with different types of armor that looks brutal, but not with like magic lighting from it... We dont need to wear fashion clothing to kill people, we wear real brutal armor!

Hmm yeah, the "we wear real brutal armor!" bit is the part that gets me, see... People covered in Steel really dont look threatening to me.. At all... They look like there in the old old british army or something.

i have the game and had an acocount for like 1 week.. I disliked it alot. I got to distracted by PVP i couldnt level. Everyone attacks everyone and the combat system was boring... There was hardly anything to except wait on global cooldowns. I don't play anymore. And there are 11 million others that dont play anymore too. WoW has 100x more endgame content then AoC could ever think about. So people left wow started chars in AoC leveled to 80 to find it sucked... LOL@ THEM!!

i had an 80 quit AOC i recently went back and AOC is a whole different one than the one at launch..more endgame stuff being released..pvp system in place..so yeah LOL all you want..talking about endgame how long has wow been out..AOC just came out..its only getting better..why don't you come around hyboria for abit a let me lob your head off.

i think i am good where i am.. They may be releasing new content but... (A friend played till 80) the pvp system wasn't fun for him and i have played his char. He has a HOX and i agree that the pvp system wasnt fun for me either. I just didnt enjoy it. I mean the finishing moves are fine and all and the bewbs are a plus. But just not my cup of tea. I am brainwashed by WOW i guess. Won't be playing it much anymore either. Content in it is getting to easy and the pvp is getting a little one sided.

lol can't believe what u're saying WoW has been out for years, age of conan is working on a big project + an expansion which is coming this year, they will fix exactly everything and get all old past players back and make sure they stay, u will see

That's what happened to me; I tried AoC and didn't really like it (Well, I can't say I didn't like it, since I don't know a damn about the game and I was low-level...) so I went back to WoW...but since WotLK, WoW is too easy, and boring, repetitive, etc...
I might go back to AoC or maybe WAR

i havent played WAR but just the casting mechanics i am used to and the game style i am used to i really like and i didnt like AOC all that much. My ranger got to like level 16 or 20 and it seemed just mildly different

This game is awesome. Wow is good also. But the pvp on aoc is pretty fucking awesome as well. If they would just balance the class's it would be about perfect. I play wow and aoc continuously. Have no plans of quitting either one. So yeah...
