I do this under a cold tap - it does work at speeding the drying process up but my nails are never touch dry that quick!! I use AVON freeze dry spray - then run uner a cold tap and that works great.

olive oil works too. Let the polish dry at least a minute....apply the oil an gently massage the oil in until completely absorbed....also helps the cuticles

i tried it and it made a huge mess. I used ice cold water. I painted my nails with an Orly brand nail polish. When I placed my fingers in the water, the polish started to wash off. The water turned red. It just made a mess.

wow, I always thought my trick worked. but i never proved it like you did in this video. my idea was a bit more simple than yours though. I used to paint my nails then go to the sink....turn the cold water on and let it run over my painted finger nails. I didn't think the nail polish froze or got cold. I thought because you wet them the air cooled the water down and dried the nail polish faster. that's only my thoughts not scientificly proved.

i did this and when i got the water bowl on the table my brother scared me by throwing a ball at my head and accidentally sent the bowl of water off the table, against a wall, causing the water to get EVERYWHERE, even on my iPod. while i was rushing to clean it up i fell and knocked my nail polish box off the table onto the floor and my favorite color broke and got everywhere too. when i tried to clean it my nails got all fucked up....

when I put my finger into the container, i saw this thing floating in the water so i picked it up and realized it was my nail polish! in the process of taking it out, it clung to 2 other fingers and mesed it up. while I took it away from my finger it messed up another nail on my other hand! i attempted again my nail bumped the side of the container and smeared! TIP: wait one minute after applying a full coat run cold water from the tap at a low pressure! it works much better :)
