I'm leaning toward the time loop theory.

I first thought of that when Horace first appeared to Locke (with a bleeding nose), building a cabin. He seemed almost like a recorded loop.

The second time the theory came to mind was when Lemmy's Nigerian plane flew over Locke.

The third piece of evidence that makes me strongly consider this theory is the ending of the Lost Via Domus video game. Although the game was not great, it did include some interesting details. It ended by beginning again. The plane split in two and crashed on the island.

Also, I think that Hurley becomes the new Jacob. Looking back, he is the ONLY person is selfless in the group. His entire life, he's helped people around him, tried to ensure their happiness, and not been selfish at all (well, besides hording all that dharma food). I think that over all, his good side far outweighs the bad more than any other character. The change in his outlook in the flash sideways seems like one of an enlightened being.

I think Hurley is the hero!

i wonder if they're going to get miles to speak with dead locke and find out what happened between him dying and the monster taking his form....maybe

I'm remembering now that when hurley took jack to the lighthouse they went through a passage marked with a symbol, maybe these things only appear if you take that particular path...kind of like the bearing to get to the island

I think since Locke is dead, the REAL Locke wont be able to say anything because hes gone. He probably doesn't know what happened to himself between death and the smoke monster.

I like that maybe going through that way maybe did lead to a certain part of the island and thats why the lighthouse wasnt seen in the beginning. My only question is tho, is why are the caves the same and not the lighthouse..interesting tho!.

Everyones connected, we know this. But without the island they are still meeting up. What do you think their purpose is now? At first I thought it was just going to show us their lives without the island, but now I think something even crazier is going to go down.

Jack may be chosen as the next Jacob but won't take it? I have no idea. lol

I think it was that they were all meant to meet in the 2004 time-line because they were all apart of the island. Im trying to figure out how the 2 time-lines could possible meet up somehow.

If Jack is the new Jacob, ill be pissed lol

Jin has to be the other candidate when it said Kwon, he was transported to the past. /shrug

I cant really picture Hugo being the next Jacob, but it'd be badass.
