Concerns me that in most of the situations in which she appears she is miming. There's such a big gap between the recorded and live experience of Ms Jenkins' voice.

It would seem that she is on safer ground with this than when she attempts to sing opera - even in the easier arrangements that are made for her.

Why would she be lip-synching when the accompaniment is a basic piano? Usually, lip-synching would include a large orchestra that cannot be duplicated onstage and a more difficult arrangement.

Don't get me wrong. I love Katherine Jenkins as much as any fan but unfortunately, this is 100% a mime. Firstly, I've heard the recording countless times and this is identical. She always shows signs of her singing this such as mouth shaping and proper breathing. She also usually has people playing instruments around her. Finally, I've seen all of Katherine's performances and this is the first time. Don't get me wrong though like I said, I still think she's amazing.

Besides, she performs more than any other classical star. A lot of people mime, believe me. Once is not a massive deal for Katherine because unlike a lot of singers, she puts forth the effort to actually sing.
