@keeponbrickin610 you can play GTA 4 on pc using an xbox 360 controller no need to buy a controller for pc just connect xbox 360 controller to pc go to microsft download a file or program for your controller i use my 360 controller all the time it works better than pc keyboard.

@superbluepop1 the problem for you is the ram and graphics card. win 7 needs 2gb of ram meaning the game uses 1gb caausing slow speeds so update to 4gb and a radeon 5770. i did and it works like a dream.

its because of your proc, it aint quad core, which is recommened, but you can always make a shortcut of your launchgta.exe, and add something at target, thought it was -norestrictions or something, that way you can add play on high, i do the same and no lagg at all with my c2d 7300 and 9600gt

Plays exactly like thr 360. Can controll with the keyboard any time. Watch the games itself. If it says games for windows, the controller is fully supported. Even to changing the menu buttens to the one of the controller :)

And no mods. It is just in the game.

no wonder you cant run at full speed, i would not take any notice about what the back of the case says, the fact that you only have basic RAM, you haven't overclocked your CPU (you can get to 3.2Ghz with only a cooling fan installed) and your card was maybe a fast card a year ago but now is out dated. Sorry to say but with RAM and a CPU as it is your going to get lag from any game which has been out in the last 6 months or more.

1) The q6600 doesn't need more than the stock cooler to get to 3.2Ghz, that's how amazing it is! (I've also got it there with the stock cooler)

2) His card is pretty much like a 8800GT which is a pretty good card, not high-end, but maxes most games.
