  • Love your rhythm ... this is GREAT!

  • Great tune!. I know you loaded this a long time ago, but is there a chance you could "lesson" the tune or just play it a touch slower for learning.

  • Do you have the tablature for this tune? You sound GREAT!

  • @fiddler3346 Thanks for the nice words!! If i had tab, I'd give it to you, but everything I do and teach is by ear. I owe most of my sound to ear training!!! Happy fiddling!!

  • beautiful, wish you played round my way

  • Just great :D I really need to start playing fiddle again

  • where did you learn this version (or who inspired it)? It's a lot more kickass than many bluegrass renditions of the song.

  • This has probably already been answered, but what are you tuned to? Also, does anybody know if the first chord of this is officially A or Am? I've heard it played both ways.

    Very nice playing.

  • thanks very much. I'm in standard, but I tuned everything lower. I prefer an A Major on the guitar.

  • nice tune, I love low fiddle starts, like elzic's farewell and King George IV , gives a tune a great lift when you hit the 2nd part. Tommy Peoples, great Donegal ( Ireland ) player, plays alot down tuned a semi tone. Good stuff.

  • sounds just like two cats fightin in the alley. well done.

  • Wow! You are my new favorite youtube fiddler. You make it look easy. Your sound is rich and your sense of rhythm is truly remarkable. You inspire me.
