  • FUN times!

  • They rock! Give me Magic Dick any day over the guy from Blues Traveler, who blows his wad at the begining of every solo.

  • we don't need the "ROCK &ROLL HALL OF FAME TO TELL US WHO'S GREAT.

J GEILS BAND WAS GREAT, PETER WOLF WAS & IS A FORCE IN ROCK MUSIC.

PETER WOLF WAS AT A WILLY DEVILLE TRIBUTE WROTE A SONG FOR HIM

AFTER HIS PASSING.HE COULDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY WILLY DEVILLE WAS

A HIT IN EUROPE BUT NOT SO IN THE UNITED STATES. QUESS WHAT THE

GUYS IN SUITES DECIDE WHO GETS PLAYED & WHO GOES IN THE HOF

  • noooo...... noooo...... noooooooo

  • I saw these guys so many times. I was 13 when I first saw them. Hooked to R&R and they were the soul. It was a joke but Peter Frampton was the main headliner many times as JGB opened for them. Frampton looked like he just started playing his guitar. JGB blew the crowd away before Frampton came on and little girls screaming. Ha Ha oh well. The memories were still good. thx 4 posting.

  • Get the audio from this tune at speedyconversion doht cohm.

  • JGB opened for West, Bruce & Lang in ~'73. Half the crowd left exhausted before the headliner struck a note. Few rocked like JGB.

  • one off the great live bands

  • good old days of german Rockpalast Nights on TV!!

  • these guys are the original audience "jump" music. everyone jumped to j geils...

  • rock and roll hall of fame, absolutely.

  • I would like to see the rest of this concert

  • I drank and danced to this throughout the 70's and into the 80's,one of the Top 5 live bands in their era!

  • I never get tired of seeing this video, it's a classic. One of the Best openings to a Great song. J's Les Paul sounds fantastic, great tuning. I love Justman's 3B Hammond organ, It's got to be heard in person to really appreciate its great sound and tone. It will shake your teeth loose!!

  • I once seen the J.Geils in concert at the LA Fourm. The opening act was U2 believe it or not. I remember Geils opening with this same number, so it must be same tour 79 or 80. Interesting, U2 got booed off stage. The next day I read that Pete Wolf had pulled the plug on them because the fans were getting really upset.

  • Wow this is really quite horrific. lol

  • Classic live J. Geil's.. So damn good!! Always rocked the house.. like no other! Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.. needs too wake up and, induct this great band!!

  • @kelliehable Right on, induct theJ. Geils Band into the Rock n Roll hallof Fame NOW!!!!!!!

  • @kelliehable Jesus...they are not in already?....a crime against humanity....well...maybe not that bad....but definately a crime against R&R

  • where's the Keg Party? some great times!
