dude, u needed 2 times to get the movie, it was just pretty stupid, I mean the first half was great because I was like: how is this linked to that? but then it was just redundunt and the end was just bad. big fish: great movie, great great movie, this one, not so great, just watch the first half and than you can press stop, because you are just gonna see the first half all over again plus a pretty pityfull ending.

Big Fish was great but that doesn't automatically make this film good. You could tell the director thought he was above the audience. Just becuase this film's idea was original also doesn't make it good, I would had settle for a cliche multiple personalty conclusion then this ending. This was originally suppose to be a tv series but it got pulled just like what happended to Ryan R. in the flm. The film pretends like it smart, but it's not.

i absolutely LOVED big fish, however, my entire family didn't. i figure it's to complex for them i suppose. Real shame because it was one movie from the american cinema i really enjoyed.

I got this from Netflix a couple of months ago and loved the premise of it. If you liked it as much as I did, then I suggest you see a film called, "Southland Tales." It has that same 'red herring' theme to it.
