People should not be allowed to take a life just because another human feels the need to wrongly steal their possessions. If he was fearful for his life that's a different story but I'm guessing he just didn't want to give his money.

@philip2go I carry my weapon cocked & locked because I prefer to be responsible for my own safety & the police can't be everywhere simultaneously. Sucks to be forced into a gunfight but it would suck worse if they drew first, shot the manager & also took his weapon. A person should always aim for the torso or waist, more vitals and able to incapacitate the person. Even shooting a persons leg would be more effective than a headshot. What you see in the movies isn't what happens in real life. Ex. Snipers never aim for headshots

This is a sad story with a happy ending. If our government REALLY stood for the right to life, we'd put bounties on heads like these f*cks. Very sad. I think a lot of people posting responses cheering for the death of a misguided young man don't really appreciate what it means to keep or carry a gun for protection. A gun is not a license to be judge jury and executioner. Its a tool used to defend your life and property. I hope I'm never faced with a situation where I have to shoot someone, but if I am I will shoot to kill as fast as possible, but I will hope they live. No one needs to die because I'm angry that they crossed me.

For one they weren't there and didn't know those involved and another, they don't seem to understand that using deadly force in self defense is not supposed to be a punishment that the victim feels the aggressor 'deserves.' Deadly force should only be a calculated attempt to stop or deter a clear threat.

This is a sad story with a happy ending. If our government REALLY stood for the right to life, we'd put bounties on heads like these f*cks. He saved us paperwork, a jail cell, and the possibility of a truly sad ending. I'd say this man deserves a medal from his governor and a cash reward. Sadly, it won't ever happen. Our gov't can afford to lose a few sheep once in a while, but what they can't have is the sheep sticking up for themselves.

Very sad. I think a lot of people posting responses cheering for the death of a misguided young man don't really appreciate what it means to keep or carry a gun for protection. A gun is not a license to be judge jury and executioner. Its a tool used to defend your life and property. I hope I'm never faced with a situation where I have to shoot someone, but if I am I will shoot to kill as fast as possible, but I will hope they live. No one needs to die because I'm angry that they crossed me.

For one they weren't there and didn't know those involved and another, they don't seem to understand that using deadly force in self defense is not supposed to be a punishment that the victim feels the aggressor 'deserves.' Deadly force should only be a calculated attempt to stop or deter a clear threat.
