@good2btheking @good2btheking Please shut up. The monarchy is about the only good thing about the UK. And actually, the Royal family are quite charitable. They have charities and Prince William has even gone to visit Africa and the such. So as someone who DOES live under 'The Monarchy', I respect them hugely.
Not only that but I am not 'brainwashed' and I don't 'serve' the Queen, I CHOOSE to respect her because I understand what respect is. Quite obviously you do not. No one governing = chaos

While she does theoretically have the power to dissolve parliament or refuse to sign an act of legislation she would never do so as parliament has the power to overthrow the Monarchy. Her role is purely ceremonial, she is just a figurehead for the nation.

And i don't have to bow before her or do anything she commands, it is just a sign of respect to bow before the Queen. And she has done much to deserve it, she served the military in WW2 as an ambulance driver and has dedicated her life to serving Britain and the Commonwealth. And it's obvious why we need a Parliament, without government the land would be in chaos. Without order, there is only chaos.
