Although I'm all for a raise in tuition fees (opinion), up to 2:54 is definitely the way to go about protesting. Someone needs to show this to the pointless rioting thugs out there who are aimlessly causing damage to cities across the country!

@drunkalfuzzyness I do not accept ur per centage. It was more like 30%. Many of the other students may not have actively cause damage but did obstruct the police. As a law abiding citizen, free of any conviction and as a tax payer, I strongly resent the damage, police assault and expense that I will have to pay for this event. All my brithers and I had to apply for grants, work for the Post Office in winter and on the buses to pay for our education 50 years ago!

@ericartwo1 Ok, the first set of protesting I'd say it was about 2 or 3% of the people, I guess now it is around 15% (in my opinion) but its a shame it did come to that.

People are angry, frustrated, they do not have any trust. Some people unfortunately show their disgust in disorderly ways.. It's not right, but at least more than half of the people there were there in peace right?...

@drunkalfuzzyness I agree with ur last comment, I get angry but do not vent my anger hurting people or causing damage! I get angry with some of the comments made by Students Union committee but that does not give me the right to assault them. They spoke on the news and did not condemn the loutish behaviour of some of the protesters. It is these louts who give decent law-abiding students a bad name!

Well done to all the students who peacefully protested. Fight for your future and your rights. David Scameron and his muppets have no idea about debt. Tory government will never change. Remember this and teach your own children as i have mine that Blue dont have a clue!!!!
