  • tube screamer makes everything sound perfect

    sweet pgm btw! \m/

  • hey which pgm is this? and which pickups?

  • The head...Valve or ss?

  • At 7:25 when you start sweeping, was that part of a song or did you make it up? the reason i ask i because i would love to get some tabs for it!!!

  • Nice Guitar etc!, but I do not like how they reversed the tuning pegs on the 'Bottom' side of the Head stock! Anyways!!

  • hey, what company did you say the guitar stand was from?????

  • your'e rich for sure! ^___________________^ all of your equipment will cost half almost

1/4 of a million here in the philippines... :(

  • the pickups are paf pros, right?

  • Ibanez JEM isnt good for your type of soloing ?

If you dont use it, can i have it ? Only if it isn't having any use : /

I dont like seeing guitars stopped, and im wanting an Ibanez :D

  • wow , do u give gutiar lessons ?

  • dude jem is my dream guitar but cant afford to buy one.. ^_^

  • The PGM301 is near impossible to find new these days. They have been discontinued :( They only make the PGM300RE now which is the same except that it has got an Edge Bridge..

  • funny you say these pups are high output lol ... technically they are much much lower output then the Dimarzio Evolutions that wer in ur JEM ...this guitar has PAF Pro's , which Dimarzio considers medium output and the Evolutions being HIGH output...but w/e...maybe the overall brighter tonality of the guitar an pups tricks ur ears into thinkin ther louder. PAF Pros are deff a tad crispier than the warmer middy tone of the evo's

  • Hi!

What do you think of the joe satriani signature?

  • how would van halen / metallica go with this

was going to get a dean (metal sounding guitars) but i heard this was incredibly versitile

  • A lot of it is in the amp to be honest. If you want van halen, push your middle and treble up quite high, I've never tried to get a metallica tone but I would start by pushing the bass up, the middle up and the treble down.

But as guitars go, yeah it's pretty versatile.

However, Dean's are a different story. I've played lots of deans, and never played one (apart from the MAB SIG) that I've though was any good. To me, they all feel and sound cheap and nasty, although again, thats just my opinion.

  • hey ,the mab is what i was going to get, wat is your say on that?

  • Fortunately, I've actually played a Dean MAB and actually (although it's nothing like the setup MAB usually has) its a really nice guitar. It feels nice, it's REALLY easy to play and it's got good tone. I'd say it's a good bet, although perhaps a little overpriced, especially for a Dean.

  • which pickups are better the ones in ur pgm or the ones in ur jem?

  • They are very different pickups. If you want a warmer and thicker tone, I'd go for the Jem, but the seem to lack any brutality. If you listen to the way Vai plays, he doesn't actually play hard, or brutal, it's all very fast, very accurate and very delicate, so the Jem pickups wheren't designed to have that harsh edge, where as the PGM pickups really have that harsh snarl to them that I like, but for cleaner and warmer tones, the Jem would be better.

  • @ironhamster88

Also the different fingerboard materals and body materials play a part as well, but the main source is the pickups.

  • where did u get ur pgm dude? i want one :D

  • Just an every day guitar shop man.

  • I love your gear setup. I would definitely love to have your setup. I am set as far as guitars. My Washburn MG94 is darn near similar to that PGM. You are a great player and your sounds are great.

  • hey dude ur a really great player! how long have you been playing??

  • you made that bloody guitar talk. great playing man

  • whats the metal pedal?

  • It's a Mesa/Boogie V-twin

  • your MG head...

  • i was there when they lost it! bloody plonks!

  • so good man,

  • the PAF PRO pickups are nice, but u really got try the Tone Zone (Madeby dimarzio, the same company) I have a pgm301 too. its a nice guitar. nice playing dude.
