Digimon Tamers-Triple Digivolution (Champion Level)

if I was a digimon and had to chose the method of digivolving I would rather spin, change and the throw up than rather to have my skin peeled like a banana.

It's odd that the english versions has "digivolution" where the Japanese had "evolution" in it's digivolve sequence. I wonder if references to evolution were too controversial in the US or some crap like that.

@MeBeMat What? That probably has NOTHING to do with it. They just decided to get creative w/ the name for the growth of a Digimon, I assume, for two reasons:

1. So it doesnt sound like ripping off Pokemon

2. Because of the simple fact that it's DIGIMON that EVOLVE. Digimon+Evolve=Digivolve. There's no problem w/ that. Heck, in fact, I'd PREFER it like that.

Tamers and datas are my two fav seasons big reason is because they actually made the tamers a central part of the battle and not just the holder of the digivice

3rd was definitely the best season in Japanese or English. Even watching it now I don't have any problems with the dub which never happens with me.

True. They actually show the process during champion digivolution unlike the first two seasons like when they begin to spin and then the shot zooms in and the new champion Digimon appears as it slowly spins to a halt.

@Daenio1993 That's because the first two seasons were made on dirt-poor budgets, so they couldn't afford to animate that stuff. This season wasn't much better, but it was reasonable enough that they could spend more time on the transformations.

@Daenio1993 I noticed they actually start doing that after season 2. Showing off the way they would digivolve through different methods. (Though not nearly as graphic as season 3) I like that they started doing that.
