I can burn an ISO file, that's for sure, but then do I just put it in my wii? Im using homebrew channel. (I'm sorry, I softmodded it only recently, without realizing I don't know how to even burn a game)

i have a problem, big one! i played the iso on the emulator and got all the 120 stars. i went back to beat bowser again to unlock the green stars, and what happens is when the cutscene ends and where the credits should appear nothing happens!! why? idk, hope that someone could help me... please...

@Ron457X2 played on the emulator, didn't use cheats, the screen didn't turn black it just, how do i explain... um when the credits roll it just shows the background (sky, or whatever) not the actual credits... and that goes on for more then 30 min. .... and i can't unlock the green stars *sad face* maybe it's just the iso, idk, i'll try another iso...

@skoolzout1 Yes it just means that the file was scrubbed, which means the original file was compressed. So that means you have more space so the game can run smoothly. If you need anything else I'll be glad to help you.

@Ron457X2 yes actually, it finished downloading and there is like a whole bunch of winrar files each had like an iso image file in it and other junk files. will one iso file be the entire game or do they all need to burn onto one disk at the same time because my dvd-r's arent rewritable

@skoolzout1 Now listen to me carefully, just click on whichever winrar file and click "EXTRACT TO/" This is where people get lost, do not extarct "here" you have to "extract to/" Now once you do that, a folder should appear. Inside that folder is the ISO (DO NOT EXTRACT THE ISO) just burn the ISO onto a 4.7gb disc or more and your done. Now load the game through a loader. if you still need help, I'll explain everything with details and mention each exact step (:

@kevinbrryan Ok this will work on 4.3 but you need to be patient because some of the newer wii's have more stubs and blocked IOS's and a new disc reader (CHIP) so it WILL WORK But im not sure what you are doing wrong. Look up the error code, maybe that can help you

Ok I downloaded the file and extract the folder was usually after I recorded with ImgBurn at 2x speed but when you click "Start" on my Wii the black screen appeared ... What did I do wrong?

@vini2d You burned the game at a low speed, or you either need to download an IOS for that game (To download an IOS just use Dop-Mii)

@kevinbrryan ok first make sure that in the apps folder, Neogamma should be in it. The apps folder is where your homebrew apps will go. The source folder should be in the root of the SD card and so should the apps. So here what should do.

1: open the SD card and place the source and apps folder on the roots.

2: Put neogamma in the apps folder

3 load homebrew and see if the app is there. :P

@XFrezenX You did everything right (I think) Make sure you DO NOT extract the ISO by mistake even thought it looks like a regular winrar file. ALOT of people have made that mistake before, so maybe that is where you messed up.

@XFrezenX Ok this is what I mean to make things easier. once you extact the files/parts of the game, a folder should appear after extracting the parts. Now if you did it differently just look at the size of the file. If the file is bigger than the rest of the files THEN that is the one that you should burn. burn at 5x speed and you write file. Your disc size should be 4.7gb and if you did everything as I said, then it should burn fine. Then once you have burned it I will help from there (:

@Ron457X2 Hey, i did everything you said but am still getting a device not ready(medium not present) from imgburn. i tried other image burning softwares but they dont work either. This is what i did step by step:

1.Downloaded Torrent

2.Went to the containing folder where files were downloaded to

3.clicked search and searched that folder for .rar

4.opened the winrar file that came up and saw that iso was inside

5.extracted iso from that folder to desktop(file size - 4.37GB)

@XFrezenX I found your mistake. Instead of extracting the other parts you went into an archieve folder and burned the wrong thing. So here is what you SHOULD do.

1: go back to Utorrent and click the downloaded ISO

2:Extact parts

3 a folder should appear

4 move folder to desktop

5 start imgburn and look for that folder

6 try to burn it? (:

What do you mean by going to utorrent and clicking the downloaded ISO. Do you mean clicking the completed torrent or do i have to add the iso to Utorrent? Because when i click on the downloaded torrent it just opens up the containing folder where all the winrar files are.

@theunkown8 My suggestion to you, sometimes you would NEED Neogamma for some games to work properly, you need to burn your games at 5x speed, you need to update your IOS's and what was the version BEFORE you had 3.2 (btw you still haven't told me the type of brand of DVD you use. Also I can't find a GOOD tutrorial because some are outdated or fake, even if there is a bunch on youtube I dont have time to look at them all so I cannot help you there :P) Trust me you will be playing SMG2 in no time.

@theunkown8 Ok but listen to me, you can only install homebrew channel if you have zelda twilight princess because your version is 3.2. If you update (which is risky) then you could use indiana jones or stack smash to install the newest software for 4.3. So yes I would tell you to not update, but if you have the right tools needed then you can update safely. It may not make sence to you now, but you will understand once you understand hacks and softmodding. Oh and thanks for the sub :P

Region free settings... All l know about doing that is using a Rebooter, which l don't normally do because all my games are in my region.

I've HEARD of Priiloader but never tried it nor saw it.

The exact settings... Well, from the top of my head, Patch Country Strings is Off, Alt. Dol is whatever. Usually Disc+... I don't remember it much, but it's rather default for standard Wii cheats.

Yes, l did. I know it works because it works in Dolphin Emulator. I think it was, "SUPER MARIO GALAXY 2[Wii][NTSC][Scrubbed][TLS Games][Reidy].iso." I burned a DVD+R by right clicking the ISO file. Should l have right clicked the foller the ISO was in instead? Because the DVD looks empty when l open it in Windows Browser.

Guys *spoilers* I beat the game and its long.... apparently Miyamoto thought ahead of this one because I thought I was about done. There is a 6th planet and more than 120 stars. Oh yeah by the way I bought the game because it was worth buying and its not the same as playing it in a copy. (It may not make sense but whatever) oh and heads up you may stuck in some levels so I may post an expert guide soon. That is all. See you next time

thanks bro hope it works for me this time. i only had 1 DVD-"R" Left and i downloaded a bad iso file where it kept saying the disk was not readable and the title screen. and i wasent able to deleat the file off the DVD-R cuz DVD-R's cant delete files. but now after a few days of patience i can try again with my new DVD-RW's thanks!
