  • That is just simply not true.

  • DUDE...i'm half hungarian...i have family in hungary and had to put up with their language for a week!

  • DUDE, for a week? I was born in Hungary, lived there for 27 years and went to school there for 18 years.

  • rofl oops, perhaps then i got owned. i realised that maybe i based my opinion too much around my mum, who is australian born and her half-sister...maybe they just don't trill their tongues when they speak it =P will have to ask her later. sorry for being so blunt haha

  • George Lang, one of Hungary's foremost chefs, says the onion it the unofficial Hungarian vegetable. Off course it should have onions!!

  • You should check out my version, very different it looks like. Thanx!

  • Great vid! Your version is much more thorough since this was just a spontaneous one. Well, you make it a bit differently but still looks very yummy! And of course you had the onion and paprika base - that's the most important part! Good job. We should cook it simultaniously and then do some tasting. :)

  • Sign me up! Of course I don't have the awesome accent you have, so you already have the advantage! I like your vid as well!

  • Onions are not supposed to be used.

    Nem sabad hagymat hasnalni

  • Most of the Hungarian dishes have a sauteed onion base including chicken paprikash. Everybody I know in Hungary makes it that way. There are maybe regions though where it is different.

  • Yeah, it HAS to have the onions!

  • how do you really make it.. my boyfriend loves it and id love to be able to make it for him all the time but its confusing to me when ive tried and it turned out horrible.

  • Looks good.
