I haven't seen as good as she has been this season and especially in the first of the danish championship finals since the olympic 2004. She is just too cool:-)
Forever the moment,... Forever Corea!!!!! fighting!!!!!!
If anyone wants to see a great movie about the korean handball team's journey to the Athens Olympics, go watch the korean movie "Forever this moment" - It's based on what happened and it's a very touching movie. You can watch it on veoh :)
Denmark will be back next olympics! And it would be great to play against south korea again. The games against south korea and norway are always the best (and most thrilling).
This match inspired the 2007 Korean film 'Forever the moment', a movie that shows the struggles of female handball players in Korea, many of whom work a day job to play handball. The movie culminates in a dramatic re-enactment of the 2004 final, where they came so close to beating the heavyweights Denmark but lost in a shootout. Search 'forever the moment' in youtube for a trailer if you're interested.
Interesting. I actually feel sorry for the athletes in Asian countries (And other countries as well). But you just have to ignore the cultural circumstance when the players are on the court.
Not quite correct. They didn't have to work a day job to play handball. What had happened was, handball isn't a popular sport in Korea. In the movie, the team that owned the handball team decided that it was not financially worthwhile to keep the team and shut it down. Some players had nowhere to go, and the company gave them an option to work at different parts of the company. So they were no longer playing handball, just working a regular job.
