No that video does not instruct you on how to do that, that would basically be hacking. And yes if you follow the instructions in this video it will disconnect current users until they re-connect to the unsecured network.

Also if you are using Linksys, and you have "Linksys Easy Advisor" I think is what its called, you can view your WEP key through that, if it is an administrator computer.

this isnt working for me.i hard reseted it like 7 times now and now the name changed and the security is still there.plus now i think there is a new WEP key that i didnt put there.nothing is working.

here's my problem dude i was set u p with wireless on the downstairs computer which is the main computer, and also on my computer, which has a D-Link wirless router and my ps3 is also wireless, but the guy who set up the wirless connection didn't give me the WEP kep whatdo i do plz help

For the D-Link wireless router are you sure a worker came to install it, because normally installation takes place for a Modem.

On my laptop the Security-enabled network wont go away for the wireless router. So it doesn't say Unsecured Network. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

First off make sure you aren't looking under "Manage Wireless Networks" to ensure you aren't looking a previously saved network that had security enabled. To disable the Security just do what is shown in the video and "Hard Reset" your router. This should disable whatever security is on your router. Then try to connect by using "Connect To A Network." That should work.

I'm afraid its not that easy buddy....The wep key is created by somebody on your network or somebody that configured your router...I cant give you YOUR wep (not web key) you have to find it out or change it, which was what this whole video chain was about....2 parts...
