  • @chigong980 He told you his secret, it's a lust for life :D

  • He's still got it!

  • They are AWESOME live. I've been watching their live stuff and I prefer it over the actual recorded studio songs. Especially getting to see Iggy get into it and turn his rock and roll swagger on. Iggy is a god of punk rock for sure. This song is ferocious, simple yet brilliant, and makes me want to mosh. I could listen to this over and over again!

  • the sex pistols had 1 fucking album.....the iggster is still the king and is 10 years or more older than johnny crap rotten....sorry to say...he is in better shape too....iggy did more punk rock shit than any wimp named johnny lydon......sex pistols stole everything off of iggy.....all they did was go a little more extreme....they did exactly what there faggot manager told them....just to get a rise and make some quick dough.....if you watch those idiots 3 years later....they were just wimps

  • @fasteddie777666 That one album is 'Never Mind The Bollox' its an album which to this day will never be touched by IP. Pop himslef said 'Punk is everything that is rotten about Rock n Roll' and that Johnny Rotten puts as much Blood & Sweat...

    watch?v=kqxcgPPdYwo

  • @fasteddie777666 tbf johnny is a fucking massive sell out doing fucking butter adverts

  • This zitty face teenagers should watch and see what REAL music is. Go Iggy go.

  • I was at this show.....epic. Caused the blackout across the US. LOL!

  • @zabihaylo yeah I know ron ashton must have blown the whole grid doing a soundcheck. I was all ready to go but then blackout for a week. This concert was the best ever von bondies, sonic youth, and then Stooges fuck yeah

  • The Stooges was influenced by Mick Jagger, The Beatles and James Brown.

The Pistols hated everything that came before them.

  • @cisco9x dude sex pistols teenagers band ,the stooges are very better

    the stooges real punk

  • @cisco9x the "pistols" were just a bunch of morons :)

  • @fanfulladalodi79 As if Iggy was Einstein ? Get real m8

  • White dudes at their best. So damn cool.

  • another year with nothing to do

  • great vocalist & guitarist

  • Wouw !

Thhis guy is just fucking amazing !

  • OMG, friggin EPIC, mike watt on bass(lol) R.I.P. Ron...Iggy will outlast the nuclear holocaust!

  • @LIFEONPLANETBECK Mike Watt is dead?

  • @ChadRB88 Why are you asking if Mike Watt is dead? Are you confusing the issue with the Stooges founding guitarist Ron Asheton who died last year?

  • @LIFEONPLANETBECK Because your one comment insinuates he is, I thought you were confusing Watt with Asheton..My bad if I misinterpreted your comment but I think you should look at the comment, no big deal.

  • lovin the stooges and Iggy

  • Darn good performance,Go Iggy and the rest.Good old Detroit, love being a Michiganer.

  • @animal90sFreak5 The stooges are not from Detroit they are all from Ann Arbor big difference

  • great video of a rare live performance of this song . love iggy!thanks

  • I think iggy infuenced a lot of the punk scene!

  • what a fucking stupid thing to say....everyone in the world would tell you back in 1977 that iggy was the godfather of punk and have been told that for centuries now....were you born under a rock or something....rookie thing to say especially in 2009

  • not centuries but decades....this is to the comment by pbrskater26.....he must be 16

  • @fasteddie777666 That's horseshit m8, Iggy & The Ramones didn't explode on the Punk scene like Sex Pistols did and Iggy wasn't recognized as Punk until much after around 1984

  • @cisco9x punk is like the stooges, stooges does not seem to punk, stooges is

    stooges man

  • @cisco9x You are a fucking idiot. You were probably not born in 1973 when punk rock first stated showing up in NYC and we were all playing Stooges songs. The term "punk rock" was coined in 1972 by Lenny the guitar player from Patti Smith. By 1973 the blenders and Corpse Grinders were playing punk rock which means playing stooges songs. Then by 1974 and 75 The Dictators and NY Dolls were playing full blown punk rock, the Ramones were Johnny and Joey come lately in 76 and the Pistols don't matter

  • @fasteddie777666 Be nice....and iggy wasn't the godfather of punk. Godfather of sex maybe.

  • @geo88058 Iggy is the true King of Rock n Roll.

He just happen to break his crown spazing the fuck out and falling on the floor n bleeding.

  • @ImTheDude909 There is someone using my ID on here....I used to hang with Iggy and he is awesome....a little crazy sometimes but was still awesome on stage and off.

  • Fuck ya!! You never out grow it!

  • This is pure, unparalleled RAW POWER!

  • Rest in Peace, Ron... To me, you was the funckin' best riff-maker ever!

  • WHEN IM SAD I SLIDE

  • so minamalistic... yet so great!!!

  • Great as Iggy is, in this song he has to step aside for RON FUCKING ASHETON!!!

  • Everyone who thinks green day, and avril lavign are punk should check this out. Iggy's got to be pushing 60 and still has more balls than anyone in left in music period

  • Really does sound like "Who Do You Love" and the guitarist looks like Michael Moore. lol.

  • Ron Asheton was an an innovator and a fantastic guitarist... I was guttend when he died earlier this year.

  • Try 'Tribal Gathering' by The Byrds, an album that 'Michael Moore' listened to a lot at the time.

Stolen and perfected. The Stooges are gods.

    RIP Ron

  • what kinda guitar does the guitarest have?

  • No comment is enough!Rock is in the air!!!

  • First Stooges song I listened to.

The actual first was Now I Wanna Be Your Dog, but heard as a part of 2 Many DJs, and later a cover by Sonic Youth.

  • I saw them live!

  • same, it was the best show ive ever seen

  • awesome

  • Sounds like "Who Do You Love" From The DOORS

  • Interesting comment - Rock action is playing the Bo Diddley beat in this one. Who do you love is a Bo Diddley song - I think its safe to assume that 1969 was inspired by who do you love???? never thought of it before - but by god ur right man:)

  • Yeah The Doors and The Stooges were really similar.

  • yeah they really were.

the stooges were like a much more intense straight to the point version.

    i love both bands.

  • i'm extremely stoned right now and i completely resonate with what he says at the end.

I completely see you. it's perfect. i recognize you

  • Nice upload. Iggy's a beautiful cat. Great music and charisma. His influence gets wider as years go by. Detroit...Iggy & The Stooges, MC5, The Black Panthers, The White Panthers and the very brilliant George Clinton, Parliament and Funkadelic.

  • it's sad that now ron has passed away..he's the co-founder of the stooges

  • Well it's 1969 OK

    All across the USA

It's another year for me and you

Another year with nothing to do!

Gotta love the Stooges. RIP Ron Asheton. There is no one around today that can hold a candle to him.

  • He was the father of the punk riff, his death is a damned shame, but what a legacy!

  • Rest in peace Ron - You are he Dude!

  • give me ron ashston over james williamson anyday

  • Sad to hear of the passing of Ron Asheton today.

  • Outrageous Charisma

  • Wow, this is cool. Go Iggy!!

  • I was 11 when listening to it first time in '70 - this song kicked me into the right direction...THANKS FOR POSTING!!!

  • Right on Syndikati! I saw them a few times back in the day and it certainly fit my state of mind. Still does!!

  • i was 13 when i first heard it :D been hooked on iggy and all the music from that era for my life since then :P

    im 15 hahaha IGGY

  • good 2 see there're smart guys even on the other side of the world....

  • amazing, he still sounds just like he did when he was 21!

  • Cool vid K! Another year with nothing to do!
