Well after having so many problems doing this and being experienced and careful. Zune closed in middle of update. Luckily developers of the Focus handed the roms out and I was able to reflash my phone. Hours later getting mango finally on my phone, the two most things I wanted on my phone (visual voicemail and video mms) were not available. Wasted my time and the Mango 1.3 program to make the update available still didn't work correctly. Luckily I found a different way backing up. POS programmin

Just to make it more clear, when I ran the program, it said backing up and I didn't touch it at all. When it got to the end and you press a key to continue, I pressed space and it said copying backup files to so and so and then said no files to copy. That was it, its no where on my computer, the program didn't make a back up at all and so unless I could use someone else's backup, I bet I'm screwed.

@pocketnowvideo the phone switched off this morning on its own. I switched it back on but got stuck on the 'Samsung Omnia 7 boot screen. The phone switches on and off but just wont boot up, just gets stuck on the same screen. I tried formatting (vol dwn+cam=power) no luck, i tried using the Windows Phone tool to recover but it keeps saying no restore point found. I induce the 'connect to pc mode' then loaded the premangostate to zune, zune fired up, detected the phone but said no restore point.

I update two Samasung Focus(s) yesterday without any problems. Took around 45 mins each and I am loving MANGO!

I hope it's just as easy to go back to NODO for the official release. :/

Guys, updating is so easy. I did it yesterday and it took me under an hour. Just follow the instructions to the letter and you wont have a problem. 24 hrs later and im still finding new features on Mango.

@mthowabatho Actually I already had Mango installed but had to revert to NoDo in order to film this. It's very easy: you keep a copy of the PreMangoState backup it makes, copy it to the Zune folder and Zune will revert to NoDo in 5 minutes. There's a restore.bat included in the Mango package and a readme to explain the two-step revert procedure.

I'll film a video about it when we'll get closer to the official launch of Mango (final version) as it will be current then.

@solomonabhi Its pretty easy actually. The tool that is used to upgrade to Mango actually saves a backup file of NoDo on your computer. Whenever you want to downgrade just go to the tool and choose the restore and it'll do the rest on its own. I'll message you the link with the tools/steps I followed if you're interested.
