The rebirth was no 2 on the billboard as second best selling album of 2009 and have sold over 2 million records and it was only 12 songs on the record.

@fresh817boii . 2008 was different. He was so hyped up from all the mixtapes, was feature on every big song and was every where. His last two albums didn't sell anywhere as close. There was NO BUZZ. Yet it sold almost the same. You must be stupid to think that those are legit sales. Birdman or someone from his camp must have ordered more copies to boost his rep and increase his touring fee. Plus Carter 4 wasn't at all well received and didn't have a BIG SINGLE (c3 - lollipop, a milli)

There was a video on world star hip hop which showed how labels would buy albums then sell it back to the stores in order to not be in the negative. They would do it to big artists because sales will instantly make you much more famous. Even fake sales. You honestly think albums still sell? Back in the early 00's, sure. But now?
