Philip Catherine is no good in this style of music, to open. The sound needs to be dry. And Bireli plays better that age than any other Hot Club gitarist ever will. Nice clip tho, wish there was more of the old Bireli.

I doubt that. I think Bireli never played a Selmer. And I never saw one look that whitish and newish. The youngest Selmer Guitar is now 55 yrs old, and most of them in their 60ies/70ies... Plus, "Maccaferri" guitars have "D-mouths" according to Mario Maccaferri's original design. This is definitely not one, not even a Selmer. Good guitar nonetheless, and what a tune and what great players.
