Honestly, it looks like a well behaved German Shepherd to me. He's protecting his property, as shepherds have been bred to do for ages.He also responded to his owner when called. If he were aggressive, you'd not been that close to his fence successfully. Just a simple hop, and he'd be over that fence. Might ponder that before spying on your neighbors next time.

I agree danegrrrl. A bigger fence would be a better suggestion imo but Sheppard have been known to jump 12 foot high fences. Once again. Why is a dog not bred for snow in the snow outside?
