  • TYVVVVVM!!

  • oh wow. haha. I was just weondering what chocobuckle was. As i had beaten this game many times n never seen it... but ugh, just gave me something to work towards. haha.

  • Wow that music takes me back! Beautiful!

  • 3:02 "cought" instead of caught ?!

    o.0

  • did you really have to change Cid's name to Syd...

  • @bigwrench01 Yep. because i'm a fan of Syd Barrett. Imagine my surrpise when i played this game and there was a guy named Cid and another named Barret

  • if you do that its really amazing strategy.

  • @ucavalcante its fun! completely worth it but you gotta be careful to never escape again! not that heard though

  • How does it be why can RedXIII so many times attack ?

  • @Aptx46891 when you get all 7777 HP he goes nuts! i think its like 56 hits of 7777

  • @Sniglet82 Its more like 64 hits

  • @Sniglet82 its 77 hits of 7777

  • Barret is better with 7777´s coz with his weapons, hits 8 times per turn

  • Escaping 2221 times for Chocobuck to do that much damage isnt worth it

  • @ottawan613 its easy and you can do it within just a few hours.....depends on your level of gameplay as to wether its worth it or not

  • poor red xiii :D

  • I will destroy the hidious cretures now muwahahahahahahahahaha >:)

  • yo sinjin after all the fuckin years i have sneak attack materia

    Angelic Choir:(signing)

  • how do u get sneak attack materia ?

  • @Eddygangsta330 Sneak attack is won from chocobo racing. it can take a really long time if you're unlucky... i think it took me a week or constant racing.

  • @Sniglet82 lol I Bred chocobos for a week now I have a really fast and smart Golden S- Rank chocobo (GOLDY) That beats Teioh and Joe every time. Partly because of maxed stamina.

  • @sorajord yeah he becomes a pansy as you get better. now fill your chocobo stable with nothing but goldens!!!

  • :)

  • yea the best 777 guide ever

  • omg

  • @Eddygangsta330 lol you like?

  • I did something similar in ff9. I accidentally erased my game and had to start all over so I was upset. Then I saw that it's possible to do like 9,999 damage very early in the game by getting Quina to a certain HP multiple. It didn't take long at all to do that, and I just equipped characters with Rflect rings and started slaying dragons very early in the game, thus getting my levels back to my erased game.

  • I'm not positive about this, but I'm pretty certain. When you get 7777 the second time, all your attacks will equal 7777, but it won't automaticly attack for you. So say you had your Omnislash, and you had 7777 for the second time, you would hit 7777 for every slash.

  • poor bastard never stood a chance....

  • @JolietJakeJ lol nope

  • what if cloud did this with sepharoth O.o

  • @knightpnyou completely possible. i'm pretty certain theres a 7777 sephiroth video

  • why set turbo to r1?

  • @fantasycoproduction it makes cloud jerk around while pressing left on the d pad. this allows him to walk in place. by just pushin on d, nothinghappens

  • @Sniglet82 but if you don't have a turbo you can just tape down the r1 right?

  • Emerald weapon: Hey stop i also want to attack! AAAAAAAAAArrrrrgggghhhX.X.

  • @Sniglet82

Yay!! I got my 1st Sneak Attack Materias at the Chocobo Races! Who knew that my 1st Winning S-Rank Race would get me one. I'm so happy! Of course, I have to level it up along with the other Sneak Attacks but I'm almost there! Just 2 more to win and some Grinding and I'm all set!

  • @EmpressAeris it wud practically be easier just to master them.

  • @fantasycoproduction

I know it would be easier but spending the time on mastering 5 Sneak Attack Materias is a little too time consuming for me. I got it on Level 3 and it seems to work just fine! Thanks for the help though! ^_^

  • @Sniglet82

OMG! The puppy hit Emerald Weapon 63 times with Lucky 7's! He hit 489,951 HP total! That's half of Emerald Weapons HP down in one turn! This video has been really helpful! Thanks Sniglet! Now I can finally pwn Palmer The Great! *Fan-Girl Squeal*

I'll Subscribe and send me a Friend Request because my computer can't load YouTube profiles worth crap and it seems like the only why to send somebody a Friend Request is by loading their Profile! Thanks again Sniglet-sama! ^_^

  • Wow chuckobuckle isn't useless. I've always known that you could get up to 9999 damage with it, but that's your standard attack later anyway. Unless you get it right out of midgar and runaway like crasy it's usless in that sense, but using ti to invoke lucky 7's is pretty boss. Kudos.

  • @fbombv1 awesome. glad you like the vid!

  • how do you get final attack+sneak attack?

  • @Bitchmanitor Final attack comes from defeating the special battle at gold saucer. and the sneak attack comes from chocobo racing. Sneak attack can take a long time to obtain since it's a random prize.

  • Thanks for the info. I've already beaten the weapons but its still fun and its great to show off with =P

  • Big help man, thanx. I've already beaten the weapons with a combination of Knights + HP Absorb and Mime + Counter, but this is still fun and great to show off with =P

  • It means to say caught right?

  • LOL that wud suck if u reached around 2000 escapes and lost count XD

  • @daheartless yeah... i did it.... it sucks lol

  • @daheartless If you lost count, you could just cast chocobuckle on yourself and look at the number.

  • theres one in the training area in junon (one of the houses in the area where u march

  • is there another way 2 get the enemy skill materia i missed it before and i want it soo bad :(

  • there are a total of 4 in the game. i honestly can not remember off the top of my head the location of all of them. but if you have the airship you can go to the chocobo sage and "tickle" his chocobo and he drops an enemy skill

  • teadious work .__. I prefer Cait Siths "The End"-way =P

  • shew! the end is a tough one to pull off though. dark kefka has a video on here of him doing just that. i've never been able to do it =(

  • I just walk around with the cat's bell on and get my characters up to any hp that ends in 78, then enter a battle with a weak enemy, manipulate it so it can't attack, cast mini on it (or another character) and attack the character with --78 hp. They end up with --77 and I use potions accordingly. Best is to do it on Cloud before fighting Emerald, then just omnislash and mime after the 64 hits.

  • good, but kinda a long process

i prefer taking on big enemies with a limit break materia combo

quad magic + mime + w command = 8 limit breaks in a row, if no other characters uses a command.

should you keep miming (with no other commands) then you continue to use 8 limit breaks every turn

I killed emerald weapon in 2 minutes 40 something seconds

side note: mime + counter materia also allows you to counter attack with limit breaks and 5 materia total means no worries about emerald beam

  • you should check out my limit break spam against emerald weapon video. just click on my page. it shows all characters soloing emerald with the limit + counter + mime combo

  • great guide by the way :P

  • @clowdycloud hey thanks! glad you liked the vid! your tactic is a pretty good idea! the only reason i decided to do the full 2222 is for the emerald battle. honestly, there really isn't any other use for lucky 7's! i mean, most monsters in the game can be killed in one or 2 hits lol.

your strat is a great idea for being able to have everyone open up an emerald battle with all lucky7's. or even cooler, against ruby!!!!

  • @Sniglet82 thankyou :D i cant rearlly remember but i did try to beat ruby weapon and seem to remember none of my attacks doing any damage :O not even knight of round? hope you do well cos i never beat him :P.

if it does damage him then damn i gotta go and kill that mofo.

  • yeah dude. you gotta kill your other 2 party members. choose who you want to fight ruby, then make that character a beast. have him use all he has. if you have dazers, you can stop both ruby and his tentacles from taking action. you get dazers from the place i show you where to level up your escapes. he's really easy once you get the hang of it

  • i cant remember but i think potions heal for 100hp? so i think you should escape 2322 times then save then you keep battling with weak opponents and using the chocobuckle until you get all your party at 7677. you then save and use a potion on all characters and then you will have a full party at 7777 health.

personally i got low health and battled weak monsters until they got my health to end in 77 then i just used whatever amount of potions i needed to get to 7777 :P

  • yes but i not undestand what is the turbo controller, is for psx version or is only posible in pc version?

  • a turbo controller constantly pushes the same button (or buttons) over and over again without you having to do anything. this allows the game to "auto-play" for hours on end.

  • oh, and it's on psx. it's a game controller

  • Hey it is a good idea but escape 2222 take much time.

  • well, if you set it on auto fight with a turbo controller, you can do it in like 2 or 3 hours. thats all. it's actually pretty quick.

if you're just escaping each battle on your own, yeah, it can be tedious

  • Well, that's interesting xD"

  • 2 questions: Is there a minimum level that you need to have to do this?

And where do you get exit and sneak attack materia? Because ur lvl 99 and im only lvl 80 , will that effect my results?

  • 1. you can start this process as soon as the game starts. by constantly running from everything. you can get chocobuckle the first time you visit the chocobo stable. starting early saves time later, but if you auto escape it doesn't matter and is actually quicker.

    2. you get exit materia from the shop in rocket town, sneak attack comes from chocobo racing. it can take awhile to get as it's all luck. hope that helps!

  • @Sniglet82 thanks

  • my max hp is 7777 with cloud

    with -10 - 2 -2 -2

    materia

    thats -16 of max life

all i need are elixers to fill up his life

  • ridiculous man haha good work

  • Where is a good spot to lvl when all you have to do left is go into the crater my characters are only lvl 64 and I havent really found a good spot to lvl not even in the crater...

  • XSU4CX, if you take the left split in the path in the crater, and go to the swampy area (the up path after earlier split) , there are Gold Pots, give them an Elixer and then kill them. You will receive 8000 exp and 1000 AP for each one. :D other things in there are really awesome too, that's the best place i've found to train, if anyone has a better place, please enlighten me!

  • @gaggyfish - this is true. the crater is the best training area. i recommend using your save crystal in the swamp area where the magic pots show up. you'll spend hours and hours there. typically i'd stay there until i couldn't hold any more materia. then i'd go make master materia and return to make more. XSU4CX - also, if you want max gil, start mastering as many All materias as you want and sell them.

  • do i use a certain type of green? i used geshias greens or whatevere they are called and then used l4 suicide... and then it ran awy..

  • yeah you have to use mimmet greens i believe. its one of the expensive ones at the chocobo stable.

  • Hmm... then why did you use Sylkis Greens in the video?

  • you can use sylkis or mimmet greens. at the time i made this video it was on a save from a few years ago. i noticed i didn't have chocobuckle on one of the ES and thought it'd be a cool video. But mimmet and sylkis both work

  • Oh, cool. Curiel Greens would've been perfect as it keeps the chocobo busy for 5 turns.

  • Dear God, I had heard of this trick, but I never thought it would work. This is absolutely amazing! ^_^ thank you so much for posting this!

  • You're more than welcome lol. Own it up kid. Glad i could help. Thats what i'm here for

  • if cloud have a lucky 7's followed by omnislash i call it 4x omnislash

  • well i dont know wut the hell a cat's bell is. do u kno if there's a formula

  • google is your friend. cats bell gives you 1 HP for each step you take. so if your hp is 7750, equip cats bell, take 27 steps, unequip cats bell and enter a battle. youll have 7777 HP

  • does anyone know a strategy 2 get lucky 7777's without any hacks or glitches

  • Well, this video teaches you how to do it without hacks or glitches. Otherwise drop your HP below 7777 and use a Cat's Bell until you're 7777. Then take it off and enter battle.

  • Hey there - it's a lot easier to use Cats Bell. (especially if you're playing FF7 on a PSP and can't repeatedly go into battles and escape). in my case, I've escaped 9 times so i brig my Hp to 77xx using potions and hi potions, then use Cats bell till I have 7786HP, take off cat bell, Save, then use chocobuckle with 9 hit points and you're done! 7777 :o)

  • thats a VERY excellent strategy. When i get home later today i'll save this strategy in the video description as well. Good job!

  • Hey no probs :) Kicking Emerald and Ruby's weapon this way was a breeze. I've now done all side quests and sadly have to go to the crater where it all ends...

  • I thought if you got 7777 hp twice in one battle, all of your hits automatically do 7777, don't you?

  • Naw all you have to do is get your hp once during the battle to 7777 to do luckys

Also, you can only do one 7777 per battle. After the battle your character goes to 1hp if they didn't die the battle before.

  • I'm watching a vid right now, and after you do your 64 hits of 7777, all your hits at that HP will do 7777.

  • oh i see what you're saying. you're saying that after the 64 hits, your damage continues to be at 7777? That i did not know. SImply because i've never finished out the battle after recording the 7777 streak. Thats pretty cool tho. Nice find!

  • I was curious if you got 2223 escapes does your count start at 1 or does it stay at 2223 and you need a new enemy skill or what's the dealio with that? other than that this looks simple, pretty good guide

  • nah the count keeps building. if you escape 9999 times you can do 9999 damage for the cost of like 3MP. so you can be doing 9999 damage pretty early in the game if you took the time to escape that much.

  • This is interesting to watch, for sure. I have a question, though. Can you only get Chocobuckle to work in the PC and Japanese versions of FF7? I went through the whole ordeal, got Chocobuckle, and then escaped battle 250 times. Based on the strategy guide I used, I should have been doing 4-digit damage with the attack early in the game, but it never worked. Does the PC version make the difference for it to work?

    Great job! :-)

  • Well it should work for all versions. I used the US version myself. But chocobuckle does damage based on how many times you escape. so if you escape 250 times, it'll do 250 points of damage. Thats why you have to escape 2222 times. 9999-2222 = 7777. Of course if you have like 9000 hp then you'd only need to escape 1223 times. The reason i suggest 2222 escapes is because it's very easy to obtain 9999 hp =)

  • Ah, I see! Because I escaped 250 times, and the Versus strategy guide I was using for this said that it would multiply based on that initial amount, and implied I'd be doing damage with Chocobuckle in the early 1000's, based on their formula.

But thanks for clearing that up. I do know that Versus used the Japanese version of the game when they released their strategy guide, so maybe that was where they got their figures from. :-)

  • PC is gay, i have it for the psp

  • ................... and I never escaped once cause I owned everything I encounter =P

Well, to keep my no running record =P

  • it is common to never escape from battle. But to escape 2222 times to obtain the ultimate attack on command is elite...

  • T_T so much grinding, haha like killing 60000 things with Vincent too lol.

I play the PC version btw. =P

  • ah ok. Yeah the Vincent overflow is insane. You'd think that 60k kills wouldn't be that bad.... but it takes for eva'. IT really sux when you've been fighting for 3 days straight and your power goes out and you lose everything. That happened to me a few times because i'd leave for the weekend and keep my ps on. come back home after a storm and all was lost =(

  • hehe for the PC version, I don't know how it could be set up...

*sigh.. it's crazy though... I think it'll take more than 50 hours to kill that much with vincent.

  • what would happen is you had 4x cut and lucky 7?

  • unfortunately nothing. your character would still do only single hits =(

  • ...... i know a faster easier way =] .... message me if ur interested...

  • sure lets hear it

  • emerald weapon must be like "damn it this guy has to stop getting lucky with the 7's)

  • do you need to use exit cant u just use escape

  • yeah you can just escape but it would take longer.

  • hi i think i screwed this one up i am at disk 2 and i think i forgot the second disk and i forgot to look at the second flyer and my question is to you peaple can i still get it in disk two

    plz respond

  • I think you're referring to the flyers that you have to look at around the world right? If i'm not mistaken the only missable flyer is the one at the shinra building. but you get a second chance to see when later in disk 3 i think when you go back to the shinra building. hope that answers your question

  • thank you very much that is a big help you are a bigger help than the oficia;l gyde because i thaugt i wasted mij time fore a minute

  • how do u um get final attack?

  • go to the battle arena exchange the battle points and get omnilash and w-summon, then kill ultima weapon, head back to the arena and talk to the lady and she will offer you special battle which you must fight using cloud, if you win you get the final attack materia

  • hahahahahah fail

  • er.... wot exactly is so fail?

  • also, make sure you have ribbons to guard against confu

  • img229. imageshack. us / img229 / 4691 / ffvii. jpg

remove spaces n copy into browser

  • theres a better spot to do this, in mideel area. on some island with a little peninsula thingie. northeast of where the pyramid was i believe. you can just hold left there and he will go up n down if youre on top view on world map, or he will go in circles if youre on the other view. also, good materia settings: hp->mp, exit/final attack and exit/sneak on two chars, then have the one char with regular hp carry counter and exit/magic counter. this way should never fail.

  • this is a cool video

but about getting chocobuckle...is it possible to get on the first disc?

does it have to be a chocobo from that exact area or just any chocobo? i got L4 Suicide and all that and i used it on a chocobo outside the chocofarm (where you get choco/mog summon) and it did damage to him (160 or so)

if it did damage, shouldn't the chocobo use chocobuckle on me then?

  • You can get chocobuckle from that area as well! The chances are slimmer than next to Mideel however

  • do you need to cause a certain amount of damage?

  • no, you just need to be able to hit the chocobo with lvl 4 suicide and you're good

  • well i did and it did damage to him...i guess it's just random then

  • you also need to feed the chocobo a mimett green before you use the lvl4 suicide for it to use chocobuckle

  • isnt it just a FUCKLOAD easier 2 just put 2 materia on everybody and keep all of theyre health at 9999 when fighting emerald? o.O cause he has and attack that gives you 1111 damages per each materia equipped.....

  • the damage done by the attack you're referring to is based on how much AP you have equipped. Not how many materia you have equipped. Besides, this strategy is a FUCKTON easy! It only takes 2-3 hours to master. ANd with a turbo controller you can even clean your room while raising your escape count.

  • well SORRY!! @_@ i havent played this game in forever..... i miss it!!! DDDx have u deafeted ruby weapon? o.O :D

  • Oh yeah. He's not that tough, but his fight isn't as flashy as with Emerald weapon. I think the coolest RUby weapon vid i've seen is the level 8 Tifa vs. Ruby. Check it out.

  • lol il check it out @_@ and obiously u got Knights of the round table right? o.O and what lvl. did u get 2 or are you in

  • Check out my other FFVII video. I have 8 knights of the round so that i could achieve the damage glitch. All my characters are level 99 with max stats and a 99:99 clock

  • do u have a cfw psp? cuz if u do i can give you disc 3 and my saves :p

  • a what? o.o

  • do u have a cutom firmwire psp cuz if u do i can give you the game

  • I wish. I do not have a PSP =(

  • ohh

  • this is pretty clever, but 2222 escapes? Damn im nearing the end of the game but i only fought about 600-700 times with 0 escapes. This will take well over a week to achieve.

  • Actually if you have a turbo controller and you use the method i've shown you here, then you should be able to escape 2222 times within 2-3 hours.

Thats how long it took me and i had an escape count of like 5-15

  • yeah but ur forgeting that you cant leave it for too long because you will run out of mp. I cant leave it on while i go to work all day, cuz ill eventually run out of my mp and my characters will die.

  • well.... yeah, don't leave it on ALL day. but if you get home form work and you're just going to sit around all night, set it up then. It's not an all day event. I made this video from scratch in 5 hours. Which includes the 2222 escapes.

  • hey i think i figured it out. Have you ever tried to upgrade the materia THROW so u get COIN? If you can use COIN on urself, then you can easily get 7777 and time you want, no matter what ur health is. just throw money at urself and it hurts you with the exact amount that u throw.

  • Listening. Always in hichacteres always speak of any thing. But as aeris does not appear IT SPOILS anywhere when the chacteres speak

  • Comment removed

  • thx for this nice guide. this is really amazing

  • where you get pre-empritive? havent played the game for 3 years and i forgot where ever thing was

  • 2222 times? Crazy! I'd die trying, though I'm trying to reach lvl 99 at the first cd, i think this is worst lol

  • 2222 times isn't so bad. level 99 on disc 1 is nuts! i wish you luck cuz thats' some bragging rights right there!

  • My brother beat Emerald weapon once in ONE shot. Cait sith's limit break slots, if you get the 3 parts of death's face, it does the attack called "Game Over" which will instantly kill all of Emerald weapons's parts. It takes insane luck though.

  • i would advise hp mp switch so u wont run out of mp

  • I did the same thing pretty much , i used enemy lure , pre emptive and escape and then i would walk away and let the game play on "auto pilot" lol.

  • just fight till you have less than 7777hp, let's say 7677 or something like that, and heal yourself with potions. Lucky's 7 without one escape

  • ...and for the people who don't want to escape 2222 times, you could just get as close as possible, but still over 7777 health and adsust your escapes accordingly and then do this trick. Also summons take your health down if you need it, so it isn't real hard to adjust it like that.

  • Wow. 65 hits. Pretty rad. I guess I'll have to do this. I hate emerald weapon with a passion and haven't ever managed level 99. Thanks a bunch.

  • No prob! Glad you enjoyed the vid and glad it helped you out!

  • haw did you get syd to attack more than 7 times?

  • Well, i don't think Cid did any attacking. But Red XIII got all lucky 7777's which sends him into an overdrive attack that attacks for 7777 for, i believe, 50 hits

  • i waz ment to put red but i put syd by axident.

    eney-wase

i thort you can attack 7 times.

    use magic 7 times.

    and even summon 7 times.

  • that would be awesome! But once you hit 7777 your character just goes into a mad rage and physically attacks over and over.

  • your grammar is terribe, it's like you just got out of kindergarten. but you're 27. and no, lucky 7s lets your character attack constantly for 7777 damage each time, 64 in this case.

  • what's it to you that i can not spell???

  • it's just a pet peeve of mine, and i can't stand when someone blatently misspells multiple word to make a sentence nearly unreadable.

  • ok i understand.....

  • after looking at my comments, i found some words misspelled. i blame it on this damned laptop keyboard and the fact that you need to press the key down completely to type.

  • everyone makes misstakes

  • Well, you just have to escape enough times to bring your health to 7777. So if your HP is at 9000 then you only have to escape a total of 1223 times, which will do 1223 damage worth of HP. if you are getting hit for 300 health, you've escaped 300 times. so if your health is 8077, then the 300 escape count is all you need

  • Well, it honestly only takes a few hours to escape 2222 times. And you only need to escape 2222 times if you have 9999 hp. So if you had 8000 HP, then you would only need to escape 223 times to bring it to 7777's. The turbo controller keeps you in the same spot fightning over and over, and turboing O gets rid of the exp and items screen. Without O turbo'd after the first battle, you'd just sit on the exp screen and you wouldn't go into the next battle.

  • Nice vid.. How did you found out all of this? Can I get Kjata while im at disc 3? I would like to get all materia even if I missed some, is that possible? Please let me know..

  • kjata? depends, can you go to the sleeping forest still? do I hear a yes?
