@grannycoupev8 I have an 09 Laramie , its a stock 5.7 and its around 390 hp , I also have a slightly unusual motorcycle and a couple of F150's , one for the fifthwheel camper and one as just a run around work hack , my wife drives her over rated over priced escalade and I think that is a 6 litre engine , I dont like the vehicle so never bother with it , we also have a rideon lawn mower
Really nice work, do you have some pics of the restoration? when you are putting new engine in. What else did you do? new tranny i suppose, would be fun to get some more info because there is one car here that i might buy, but only a v8 would be in the hood. Is the whole car handling the ls1 motor?

although your's is uprated (very nice by the way) it brings back my childhood memories..my dad had 3 MK1's a GXL and 2 GHIA's .even if 1 of them was maroon with a white vinyl roof :-)
