@ECPspot Real good sanda fighters are the ones that fight and beat many other Sanda boxers in China, I respect Cung very much, but he never fought there in his Sashou career, this guy is the real icon of chinese kickboxing, go to China and repeat what you said and they will kill you. KING OF SANDA is a real competition name, not a joke, Liu with 70 kg of weight beated this guy of 90 kg, you'll never see that at any other place.
Not really, Cung Le wanted to have a match with HaiLong Liu and they were both interesting in it but it didn't happend even till Liu was retired. Cung Le beated Na Shun before but Liu is better than Na Shun, Na Shun was relying on his power, but Liu has great all round skills on SANDA.
Sanda is pretty cool, I was expecting to probably see some san shou but never mind that, It would be interesting to go to china one day and see this live although the chinese seem to make a big deal about this particular fighting sport.

@flapplewapple > In China, the winner is usually determined BEFORE the match (thei ghter is better suitable for propaganda purposes). This fighter will nearly ALWAYS win by points, his opponents only chance is to know him out, a result than cannot be misinterpreted or manipulated.

This match was like one of the "Rocky" movies in which Slyvester Stallone, a relatively small guy, fought and defeated the BIG Russian boxer. Amazingly, this thing can happen in real life. It shows Liu is truly a skillful fighter, no bullshit!
