Help! I have a 720p video clip I uploaded but when I clicked 'share' for YouTube, the best quality they had was medium 640x360! How can I get my 720p quality up on the Tube?

You need to use iDVD to burn movies you created in iMovie.

I am afraid you cannot upload HD video direct from iMovie'08. I have uploaded several HD videos (you can see them in my channel) manually. You will need to export the movie in 720P format (the highest resolution supported my YouTube now) using QuickTime in iMovie'08. You then upload the movie manually. Hopefully, iMovie'09 comes with HD upload support. In all fairness, support for HD upload was introduced after iMovie'08 was released.

When I go into iMovie and click record video with my iSight, it records but no sound plays on the playback. Help?

go into your system preferences and then go into sound then go to input and pick one of the mic's and i think that should work thats how i got mine to work

My search began with looking at this camera for the next unit Sony's Memory Stick AVCHD Camcorder - HDR-CX7.

So far my last 2 mini dv Canon's have died a short death.
