No resultant horizontal forces acting on it. Hence vertical collapse. And that was a physics lesson for you.

In 7 months It will have been 10 years since the 9/11 tragedy happened. I was 8 years old when I saw the second plane crashed into the World Trade Center on Live TV in Tokyo, Japan and it was quite shocking to me. No matter who has actually planned these attacks, we must remember that numerous amounts of people were killed in the attacks, and we must not let it again!

the thing is that the US and "terrorist countries" can be compared to criminals in every day life. The US is the white-collar criminal, whereas the terrorists are the blue-collar criminals. The blue-collar criminals get a lot more attention than the white-collar criminals, but that doesn't make them any worse than the white-collars. It's just a matter of media attention, bureaucracy and lots and lots of money. The US is guilty of many crimes; but those crimes are hidden behind ties and tuxedos.
