  • i would be in there taking a shit i would be like wtf is the cat take a shit it the bathtube

  • I use an all-natural cat litter called Feline Fresh that's flushable, very clumping and completely dust free. I don't see why anyone would spend this much money replacing a task that takes about 60 seconds once a day.

I'm a sucker for convenience, but this is just too much. And as you said BengalsRock, if you can't handle the sight of cat poop, don't get a cat.

  • What do you do with it when you have company who wants to use your shower?

  • Think before you type. EVERYTHING is targeted towards making YOURS and MY life easier. Do you use email? Why don't you just mail letters through the post office? Do you have a contact list in your cell phone? Why don't you just remember phone numbers like everyone used to do 15 years ago? Do you have a washer and dryer? Why don't you hand wash everything and then hang it out in the sun to dry? You are just as ultimately lard ass lazy as the next person.

  • I have own my CatGenie for a little bit more than a year. Even though it appears to be so easy and convenience my is 70% of the time not working properly. Most of the time it going into error mode and it is driving me crazy, to the point that I would never purchase another CatGinie or recommended to any of my cat owner friends and is a shame because this machine is very expensive $500.00. I am so disappointed.

  • WTF? Do you work for the competition or something? You have posted this EXACT SAME POST on EVERY CATGENIE VIDEO! Just shut the fuck up already, you are a liar and the machine doesn't cost $500!!!

  • So I guess throwing the cat litter in a landfill would be better?

  • From my research, yes. Sadly. At least for those of us on the west coast whose "treated" sewage goes out to the bays and oceans. I found a few sites about composting it (as the compost pile gets hot enough to kill the parasite) but I don't know too many people with the stomach for that!

  • Sounds interesting, but in this day and age, everyone wants something easy and efficient, and that's why so many things are going wrong with the earth.

It's an interesting product, I know it would most likely be helpful especially to pregnant women since I know handling cat feces is very harmful to unborn babies.

  • let the DAD take care of that. What are they there for, if not for helping?

The machine seems nice, but I agree that it is not very "earth friendly", so I wouldn't buy it.

  • i think the cat was very freak out

  • I don't have a cat, nor am I a cat person, but I just think this is absolutely amazing.

I got it for my mother-in-law & she loves it. :]

  • Just curious. Where does each excrement go to. Like the urine and the feces. Where do they go to?

  • It goes, with the urine, into a basin that grinds it all up into liquid and then travels through a hose into your human toilet for flushing, or it goes into the washer/dryer drain, depending on where you have it set up.

  • Thanks, Sorry about the double post. You can delete the other one. I really think I'm going to get one for her. It's pricey, but to factor in the cost of litter, the smell-no matter how clean you are, there's a smell, and the risk of toxoplasmosis from cleaning it by hand. It's well worth it.

  • I was thinking about getting one of these for my sister and was concerned about the hook up. How many flushes does it take to get rid of the suds? And how loud is it? There are small kids and I didn't want to wake them at night.

  • I want to get one of these for my sister and was concerned about the hook up. How many flushes does it take to get all the suds out? And is it loud, there are small kids in the house don't want to wake them at night.

  • It's as loud as a dishwasher. It takes one flush but you've got to flush it after every use.

  • Wow I never thought this video's gonna be that graphic cus I was eating lol

  • If you can't handle the sight of a little cat shit then you shouldn't get a cat AND you shouldn't watch my other cat genie videos!

  • I've read about this thing a bit, and it seems unrealiable. Did yours ever do the error beeps?

By the way, your cats are beautiful :)

  • No disrespect, but dogs are just easier! LOL

  • Dogs are so not easier! You have to take them outside 3-4 times a day, then the poop in the yard- which is just plain wrong! and you have to then pick it up so you don't step in it and tread all over your house. You can't leave dogs alone at all. Cats are simple- you can leave them home by themselves up to a week- they don't over eat like dogs then throw up all over then eat it.

  • I dont know why someone de-boosted you. You told the truth. I have owned both cats and dogs and everything you stated was on point.

  • my dog is bad and he likes to poop in other people's yards!

  • @ellier0215 Cats eat anything. I know mine does. And I've seen him eat his own barf... so..

  • how can someone who can't spell afford a litter box that cost 20k?

  • When was the last time you were able to go out of town for a week and leave the dog alone at home (in the house) with just plenty of food and water out?

With this cat genie I dont' even have a litter box to clean when I get home!

  • Yeah this thing is amazing! It is so tiring to pick every single poop every time my cat uses the litter box.

  • this is so stupid it so dam slow and u lik have to wait ten dam miniteus. i got a speed 1 for my 2 cats it cost like 20k and it cleans in like 10 sec

  • The regular "Tabby" package only costs $300 and the "Tuxedo" package which has a dome is only $369
