I was there. No where near the stage, but "out there somewhere". What a trip (literally). Later saw them at the Grand Haven Rollerink and Ballroom. I could actually see them then and let me tell you, there ain't no words to describe it - Iggy was loose beyond LOOSE!!! And, (for better or worse - I think better, but there are other opinions) I have never really been the same since either... (and Funhouse rocks like only a handful of other albums I have ever heard)
Get the Morrison fans out of here! This is Iggy's film. Iggy lives and Morrison is dead. These Morrison fans need to quit reveling in him as a great poet, and accept him as the drunk he was.
@MrBuk86 Who is Jim Morrison? (I don't mean that literally. I mean it figuratively. Who the fuck was that loser? Why do people still give a shit? Back door asshole.)
If this is indeed the GL festival 1970, I was there (100 ft out stage left)! As I remember the Stooges were last on Saturday night right B4 Mountain. You wouldn't know it from the video, but the sound/lighting/and staging were EXCELLENT. I recall that the Stooges set was more or less a drone. In the midst of this Iggy's theatrics. Outrageous! I think the crowd booed alot after the songs. Outrageous! Mountain topped it off. Wild crowd. They played Mississippi Queen several times! Thx pokes101!!
this is one of the bands i actually remember seeing. it was during the stooges show when the dude fell from the tower. they said he was even hurt. so hard to believe..... man what a cool weekend!!!!!!!!!!
One movie release of goose lake so sad no continuous video shot awsome concert , Iggy a legendary showman an more Bro. Stoney

What's crazy was that this gig happened 5 miles from my hometown. Unfortunately I was born 25+ years too early to see it.
