  • Beautiful! You're so young but already an accomplished guitarist. How do you write you name in Chinese? I guess your surname is 郑。

  • this is very soothing<3 well played Sungha!

  • everyone lets put down our guns and stop fighting. come on guys this kids got skills and lets really enjoy his talent. i ment hats what were here for innit?

  • Guys you need to all shut the FUCK up about all this racial bullshit!

This kid has put time and effort into performing this masterful piece of music and you all just bashing his nation or babbling on about some other crap!

Shut the fuck up and enjoy the music, if not just fuck off and mind your own business.

  • everyone seems upset.....chillax dudes like...yo

  • anyone know the tuning?

  • Korea has some of the most talented people I know of!

  • Arirang to me is a song thats want to unify. Please dont fight, this song is sad but people fighting during the song I wont be able to handle. I have seen both good and bad of both side. This song and other songs from other country has a reason that they are loved. please dont judge another because of another. Its bad enough some country fight with themselves still. I cant hold back my tears. Dont fight here please not in this song.

  • Beautiful~♥

  • You Youtubers are so woefully unaware of the irony you perpetrate. Every one of these comments arguing about who's right and who's wrong are all ethnocentric. You all argue about the negatives of human nature as if you're separate from those bowels of prejudice but the way you argue just proves otherwise.

Human nature is human nature, and there's nothing wrong with being proud of your own culture (with obvious exceptions).

  • i feel bad for his parents....he's gonna be a faggot when he grow up....

  • @thanismo go fuck urself bitch. can you do any better? why dont you grow a pair you pussy

  • nao escuto ninguem tocar com tanta naturalidade desde Andrés Segovia!

  • he is so young, haha

  • cute!!

  • wow :)

  • sooooooo good ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ

  • ...just like any other country now that I think of it. But overall people here possess such strong opinions that sometimes go beyond reason into hefty ignorance. Equipped with a forceful mind that wishes to be independent while sufficiently group-oriented that others must be convinced to be same, we are chaotic bundles of possibilities which controversy will either lead to a well balanced country or a... well one turd of a country.

..unfortunately I predict the latter. I just hope I'm wrong.

  • @jjanggae101 and about foreigner acting wildly..well..i've never seen as wildly as korean people act when they're damn drunk on the street (and u know how many u could see especially in the weekend). I've lived in korea for years and been to ITAEWAN many times. never seen a western person beating or missbehaving or wandering half naked on the street or sleeping on the footpath. but i've seen quite few koreans doing that though.i'm not lying.u should live more korea though

  • @RhythmicalX 저 외국인중에 캐나다인한명이 우리문화가 지네문화중에 일부라고 개드립치길래

    욕해준거거든?

  • besides all of this racism crap, let this music unify everyone under the same thought: This korean guy is just amazing.

  • Anyone else think some of the things he plays would be really good songs for weddings?

  • why they fighting lol

  • jeez every country has different cultural stories, music, etc just enjoys each and every unique culture that a country can show stop arguing radnto and soob

  • The only thing I don't like is that he does not share the light beaming from his HEART by just looking at the camera and maybe smiling or just reacting to what he just performed after his music or before he begins.

His music makes me want to know how he thinks and feels. Something to give us a hint of where all this beauty comes from.

  • I love Korea !

  • like it ... good boy... ^^

  • What a lovely song it is... I am so proud that I am a Korean.

  • @soobinism someone doesnt even have to be to like this song, it's a really good one...thank heaven's for korean music (k-pop, not included LOL)

and by the way, i am so proud that i am a Canadian, Canadian culture embraces all of the cultures of the world, thus in a way, Korean culture can also be considered as Canadian LOL

  • @soobinism It's funny that a korean is saying that canada is under american supervision. Guess you forgot about the permanent american military installation in your country right? Korea doesn't walk around the block unless the U.S. says you can. So let's all just calm down and listen to some good music.

Canada may not be as old as your country, but our culture is just as good, because as I said, our country's culture embraces the culture of the many nations that come to make it home, including the thousands of koreans living here...it's sad that someone like you twisted a positive comment and turned it into an attack on other people's cultures

and don't call me ignorant, i have credits in Korean Studies from the University of Toronto

  • @soobinism korean society's greatest pitfall, xenophobia

  • @RADnItO

Multiculturism fails. Unless you like being told what to do by immigrants instead of the natives.

  • @jjanggae101 so can u explain to me about how Australia is one of the most advanced country in the world where there is relatively low crime and people get good wages? I don't think Aboriginals think same as u. As i don't think indians have same thoughts. We tend to forget that we almost all are immigrants. Pure races are only in some crazy head's dreams.

  • @MrGasman78

You forgot to mention the USA - Arguably where multiculturism thrives and yet the crime rate there is horrendous. When people think of a diverse country, we think of America not Australia. And how about the muslim problem in England?..

  • @soobinism You're a shame to yourself.

  • @thepalacemaid Not me^^ Canadians have to feel a shame on themselves..there are a full of racism in Canadian society. Everybody~ don't go to Canada, but go to USA ^^

  • @soobinism and if u're korean as im guessing, well bro, i have a very bad news for you: In your country korean people are very racist. Dont forget it. Your government rules are all about to stop immigrants, no metter what and no matter how. So please if another country hosts you be just thankful cos your country often doesn't do the same if not only for economical and political advantages.

    (a western guy in korea)

  • @MrGasman78

Korean people are very racist? Coming from a whitey LOL. You westerners invented "racism" since the word slavery existed in the dictionary. Along with those KKK groups and racial violence especially in the 60's. You don't truly know what racism is, I assume. I welcome foreigners but incorporating foreign cultures into ours is a NO.

  • @jjanggae101 are u really Korean? because if u are you should talk to your friends in KOrea. All of them would admit that they truly r racists, especially against Japan (and don't start to get out the story about war and Japan colonized Korea and raped women bla bla bla) I'm Italian and i'm married to a korean woman. German people in 2nd world war killed some of my grand relatives but not for this now i hate Germany. Korea doesn't seem to behave same way though.

  • @MrGasman78

Are you stupid? How can i be racist to my own race. Korea and Japan is both East Asian (race). Of course, the situation is different in Europe than here. Don't even get me started with Japan. You don't know the whole picture.

  • @jjanggae101 and being Italian around the world i encountered in many occasions racist people. Offending me, LATINOS an all that shit. I think USA is a good example of a country multiracial but arranged in a wrong way. Australia is a good example of multiracial country arranged in a very good way. And when my wife goes to europe she can travel everywhere with no problems. not same for me in Korea though.

  • @jjanggae101 i still can't have a damn credit card for example. i can't do MANY THINGS because i'm not Korean. She can have double citizenship but i can't. My marriage can be canceled anytime by korean government and if i complain they answer me that the mariage in Korea is forbidden between cambodian women and Korean guys so im lucky i'm Italian and not cambodian. this is what immigration keeps telling me. Not to mention that u still have death sentence. think better.

  • @MrGasman78

You claim earlier that our government doesn't please the foreigners. This is an absolute lie. Why? Because when a foreigner does crime in Korea, they either deport them back or give them lenient sentences. The death sentence in Korea does not applied to foreigners but us. Also, the police does nothing when foreigners act wildly in public places. The marriage between Cambodian women and Korean men was issued by the Cambodian government. Stop blickering lies, whitey.

  • @jjanggae101 you just called me whitey and stupid, this is what i call racism.

  • @MrGasman78

What do you want me to call you then? a Black guy? This is not racism, its called common sense.

  • @jjanggae101 no, just simply don't call me.this is common sense.

  • @jjanggae101 please take a look to my answers i didn't name you with any bad nick.i always mentionned asian and not any bad nick name for them.i never offended anyone. U don't even imagine how many nick names i could get off my hat for u. but i respect people.

  • @jjanggae101 and marriage has been issued by cambodian government UNDER STRONG PRESSURE BY KOREAN GOVERNMENT. as u might know korea has many economical ties with cambodia.the reason is because korean country side guys were contacting cambodian marriage agencies to provide cambodian women who wanted to live in country side in korea cos korean women prefer to live in the cities.

  • @MrGasman78

The Cambodian government acted solely on it. Unless you got evidence to back your statement up?

  • @jjanggae101 poor believer..world doesn't rule that way.don't hide ur head under the sand like ostriches do.think wth your own one.u believe wot they tell u? if wasn't for the international community of rights South Korea by this time would already had bought half of Madagascar and expropriated all indigenous tribes to plant crops of corn and rice. and u citizens didn't know anything about it. cos your government was doing it through Daewoo. Do u think Daewoo would have all those money to spend?

  • @jjanggae101 or do u think your government is financing it under? do u think Cambodia cares if korea doesn't want cambodia women? cambodia is nearly under a dictator, where the army and a king is ruling the country. it's poverty makes cambodia a high corrupting country.how much do u think korean government spent to make the cambodian king promote this law?just because u don't know doesn't mean u can guess.and bad guesses are sins but often are right guesses.

  • @MrGasman78 I'm sorry to say much of what you said about our country is true. If only we'd understand. But just remember that South Korea is in itself a pretty much divided country. We're a mixture of Xenophobia and Multiculturalism and a clash of so many different values. Just take a look at our religious mentality - Confucian Buddhist Taoist Shamanistic Christians... all very major ideas that form this country. Whatever you say about Korea is both right and wrong. We're busy fighting within.

  • @LinguistTroubadour the moment u say u're sorry u say also u won the fight. I'm living in Korea and personally i find it a great country. My only point was to show jjanggae101 that whitey, black, yellow and reds are there only because somebody else from high positions told us so. human beings are not racists. Our governments want us to be, putting us against each other to rule us better. a divided country is easier to master. he'll understand, eventually, one day.

  • @MrGasman78 I hope so. Thank you. I do not think of myself as a wholehearted patriot myself - however I grew up and know a lot about Korea to unashamedly say that there are wonderful people and cultural aspects in this country, who care about the universal values of humankind and the world, but that there are equally as many idiots. Just like in any other country. I feel divided and pained when I see Koreans accuse the rest of the world in ignorance - or vice versa. We are all sharing the world.

  • @LinguistTroubadour Well said brother =)

  • @LinguistTroubadour anyway u don't need to feel sorry for anything about your country. koreans are beautiful people.very hard to approach in the beginning but once they get to know u they open up big times and become very good friends..

  • @MrGasman78 That is so very wrong. You want to start with Italy? Italy is no better. There's a rampant human trafficking industry in Italy where Africans are entrapped with promises of lucrative and respectful work or offers to young Africans of football scholarships (with a large initial payment of course!). The Italian government, a government full of corruption and inefficiency for the common people and are very aware of the problem of human trafficking but do nothing.

  • @martyback I really hope you will give me your private email so i can explain to you properly without scribbling this page with what you consider "woefully unaware of the irony we perpetrate". Why SPAIN, GREECE, PORTUGAL, ITALY are in this condition While France Germany and some other countries kept the best for them. WHY they reduced Italy and Spain at the second and third position as number of emigrants after ROMANIA. Do you think it's good leave your own country cause of no future?

  • @martyback Leave you friends and family? Of course i don't approve what my government is doing right now! And the africans coming by boat please take a look at the map and you will realize that Italy is the closest link to Europe for them. They come to Italy but do you think they want to stay to Italy? PLEASE!!!! they want to go to France, to Germany!!! Even Italians don't want to stay in Italy because no well paid jobs can u imagine an immigrant from Africa who wants to earn money quickly?

  • @MrGasman78 Furthermore, European countries in general aren't very friendly to non-European immigrants. Many European governments including France and Sweden hold a very strong prejudice against Muslim immigrants (not to mention immigrants in general). European countries in general have very low immigrant populations. You think Korea's being bad to you? How about Germany, until VERY recently only granted citizenship to people who could prove they were of German descent?

  • @martyback i would suggest YOU not to jump into discussion bigger than what you can handle. Unless you are some kinda of Joan of Arc of the new millennium who jumps from video to video trying to teach people about a better world i would suggest you to chill down. I REALLY hope you are Italian or have lived in Italy long enough to speak my language because i can speak yours and that means i know a little better than you about English countries than what you might think.

  • @MrGasman78 Most European countries have very bad track records with immigrants. Don't pull that ethnocentric shit out of your ass without knowing what you're talking about. People everywhere can be xenophobic. Look at the history of Europe's treatment of the Jews. Look at the genocides that have taken place in Europe, from Germany's holocaust of the Jews and other targeted groups, Serbia's attempt to "cleanse" the former Yugoslavia and otherwise.

  • @martyback First of all i hope 3 things about you:

1st you are Italian or have lived in Italy long enough to judge a country

2nd that you have read all comments and exchange of opinions in this discussion because from what you're saying it really seems you haven't read even 10% of it.

3rd you understood WHY i answered that way. I wasn't trying to defend my country AT ALL. Otherwise it wouldn't explain why i went away from it. I'm a fu***ng emigrant. What do u want to say to me?

  • @martyback Please tell me where you are from.please i'm very curious. Or if you don't want to tell me where you r from at least tell me if you live inside the milky way.

  • @soobinism WTF you don't have to bash an entire country just because of one idiot! Don't stoop to his level, just ignore the idiot.

  • @soobinism I was reading the comments and fount out that @RADnItO wasn't even saying bad stuff about Korea. What the hell is your problem dude?

  • @RADnItO He misunderstood, thought you were saying our culture belonged to yours, that we are a canadian subculture - which if I'm correct you only meant that Canada embraces all cultural influences of the world inculding Korean.

And thus the riot. I apologize in behalf.
