Okay after reading the comments on this song i have something to say scientist arent sure yet if this is a fact cause everything is a theory and they may say its proven by scientist but who knows this may be an experiment seeing if it the most relaxing song ever
Its designed so that the loud droning sound distracts you from most thought, while the pulsing in the background does a sort of mental trick with your body causing it to slowly sync up with it
its very relaxing but to call it the most relaxing song in the world "proved by scientists" would require these "scientists" to test every song in the world. Which is impossible.
@markrobgray Why is that impossible? I'm fairly sure they can discover which cords are the most somnatic, and scanning for those would greatly lower the potential pool of songs, and take a fraction of the time it would take to actually listen to them. Not to mention the fact that one could immediately eliminate most forms of metal, hardcore, and otherwise loud and accelerated music from the list right off the bat. Seems totally quantifiable. But, I do bet there will be a new one next year :P
I thought I'd put the theory to the test. When I'm stressed I get unthinkable thought, hard to switch off, plus is high, my mental state is weary, worry, I'll, sick e drugging you can imagine. I measured my pulse on a iPhone app it was high. After listening to this for a good two hours whilst looking at stuff in eBay, I noticed my mood was lifted. I wouldn't say it's induced sleep for me however it's most definitely eliminated every symptom. I did the pulse test, results showed 'low'
wtf.all i have to say.um not a hater but i think all u people fell the 'relaxingness' of it are only feeling it because they said scientists said it is the most relaxing song in the world..if it said i think its a really relaxing song insted of scientists say its the worlds most relaxing song..u wouldnt think it was relaxing

This song statistically reduces heart rate. That is a fact. Are there exceptions? Yes.

Another flaw: Have the scientist listened to every piece of music ever recorded to make such claim?

I dont understand how its scientifically proven, its a matter of opinion. This song may be annoying to someone, thus causing the opposite effect.
