  • man, the king >.< its orgasms for the soul.

  • The King.

  • awesome.... by the way are there parallels with led zeppelin?

  • @weischamp Probably just the title. The lyrics are taken from his song You Need Love.

  • aww man my great grandmother went crazy when i started playing this...she 85

  • nice song !

  • Listening to 50's King you can easily see why he was championed by all of those 60's British guitarists. Although often imitated he's never been equaled.

  • simply brilliant :) bb is a king in his own right :D

  • LOVE it.

on which album was this song released?

  • Thanks and no offense but i'll pass on the Blue Cheer recommendation....

This is prime B.B.King, probably played on his 1953 Les Paul, with heavy (Di Armond) strings. B didn't use light-gauge strings back then, he told our mutual friend Duster Bennett. He must have had strong hands, like Stevie Ray.

It's great to hear this. I first heard it in 1970 and it has remained a firm favourite.

    Best wishes from the U.K.

  • the intro to this song sounds like the Intro to Blue Cheer's The Hunter.....check it out...

  • Or the signature lick of Dust My Broom....

  • right on! didn't know you had bb in your collection!

  • awesome quality

  • Nice Bro!!

  • sweet!
