@HelloMyNameIsBob977 Adult or a youth? does it matter? shop lifting is no excuse for disfiguring someone's face.
This dog should be put down, just like any other dog would be -- and the owners (the RCMP and the officer partnered with the dog) should be personally held accountable both for civil payment to the individual, and criminal charges.
Fuck the RCMP. Same motherfuckers who ran the Toronto G-20 beat downs.
@WhatsReallyGoingOnUS So what is a good excuse? at what point do people stop taking the sides of criminals? what about the shop owner who has a job, a business to run and had his hard earned profit robbed by someonewho wont even buy a drink.
@hapilton what about the guy who's face will never look the same again? just because he stole a drink. He obviously knows what he did was wrong, but it's the fact that the dog ripped his face apart. he wouldn't be mad if it were just his arm or leg.
@daniey251 You are correct. I mis-heard that the first time -- honest mistake. The points I was making remain unaffected. The victim's gender is superfluous.
@hapilton The store owner lost 3 bucks, A single gas fill up is around 50 bucks, if someone is willing to let to police dogs rip a kids face apart over 3 bucks, and my friend no less, then the world is fucked.
@Fsxace999 so what its only a couple bucks? its still money. store owners lose huge amounts of profit to shoplifters. why do you try to make excuses for him? it's not about the money its about the actual act of stealing, at what point do thiefs stop getting away with stuff and stop having people make excuses for them? if this happened to every person who stole do think people would steal anymore?
@hapilton She did not ROB anyone ... she SHOPLIFTED. There is a difference between armed robbery and shoplifting -- learn something about the law before you condemn people to have their faces bitten off. FFS.
ARMED ROBBERY -- implies threat of violence.
We're talking about a TEENAGE GIRL that SHOP-LIFTED an energy drink. She was no threat to anyone. There was no weapon.
Should she have been picked up by the cops? Yes, of course. But she shouldn't be handled with violence.
@WhatsReallyGoingOnUS and theres a difference between armed robery and robery, i never said the person was armed. Aslo she was picked up by the police, the problem is she ran. I 100% agree that there are bad cops out there but it only takes a bit of common sence for someone to realize they should stop running when a cop with a police dog chases them.
@hapilton Why not just chop off her arm? That's what they do in some middle east countries. Would you find that acceptable too?
I wonder if your attitude will change when something like this happens to someone in your family. The fact that you think this is justified because she shoplifted and ran is astonishing. It does not justify the use of force. Period. The cop did not have to release the dog!!!
No judge would agree with you. Wait and see what the outcome of this case is.
@WhatsReallyGoingOnUS and i bet the people in middle east countries are much less likely to steal. something like this probably wont happen to anyone in my family because we dont run from cops. the reason he let the dog go is to prevent injuring himself, let the dog easily catch up and take town the criminal. the fact that the person got their face cut up was an accedent
The dog needs to be put down. Obviously that dog has not been trained properly and is a menus to society. A properly trained police dog is able to catch and hold a “Suspect” without mutilating him. If the police continue to abused the tools they are given, dogs, tasers, pepper spray, guns, then these tools should be taken away. Today I fear the police in society more then I fear criminals.
@VerifiedNews Your right, its time we the people bring this shit to a STOP the pigs beat and kill you and now dogs bite the fuck out of kids, The pigs get kicks out of this, we should kick the shit of of these low life scum cunts!
@dalecs47 The RCMP actually has the best breeding and training program in the world for police dogs. and how do you mean catch and hold? These dogs are meant to find and catch criminals who run. If you don't want to get bit by a police dog dont run. the officer was using a graet tool properly. ya it sucks for the kid but i bet he wont steal again will he?
@hapilton I stand 100% by what I said. There is absolutely no way that any police dog is trained to “Go for the face”. The very idea is obscene. “Catch and hold” means to go for the foot, if running, or the hand if a weapon is seen. Mutilating the face would be the actions of an “Attack” dog, such as might be used in the military where the idea is to kill the enemy. A teenaged suspect is not the enemy and does not deserve permanent mutilation. And sometimes the suspect is innocent.
@dalecs47 so you agree that the dog was properly trained and thats good! the fact that he is a tenager shouldnt even be brought up because the officer did not know how old the guy was. and an innocent suspect wont run from the cops. im not going to deny that it sucks for the kid to have some scars on his face but really why does it matter, first he stole, then ran from the cops he deserves more then the slap on the wrist he would have got
@hapilton I do not agree that the dog is properly trained, I think the dog should be put down as it is clearly a menus. Innocent people do run from the police all the time. There is often good reason to run from the police as cops are often out of control and often unaccountable for their actions. Police injure innocent people all the time and get away with it. In a civilized society we don’t punish suspects until after they have been convicted of a crime.
@dalecs47 well the dog was sent to bite the person and it did didnt it? and why does it need to go to court before they are guilty? they did steal didnt they?

some officers really like to verbally pump the hate through the dog when they go after people

ATTENTION COMRADES:
Police dogs are only considered to be officers if you attack them, if they attack you well... hey, they're just animals.
Isn't there a YouTube video with cleavage that you would rather be watching, a reality show to catch, a sporting event perhaps?
Move on, nothing to see here... you wouldn't want to have to be put in one of our cryotherapeutic cages for reeducation would you?
MOVE ALONG!!!
