Even though the dancing looks really good, I am hoping when I purchase that its not too much explaining. Because I recently purchased another Bellydancer video and while it is amazing. It was too much talking and explaining between all the moves, so when I pop it in, its like I have the remote in hand skipping pass the explanation. I am hoping this video flows.

I got this DVD and I was a little disappointed. The dance moves are there, but whenever she explains to you, her costume is covering her legs, so you can't really see the full move. I know that's how it is in belly dancing, but it's very hard to understand the move if you can't see how her limbs are moving. She tells you how to do it, but videos are to show you how its done. Anyways. you'll probably get it if you do it at least once every day.

the Goddess Workouts with Dolphina are ok, as well as those with the twins Neena & Veena. The "Love Potion" workout DVD with these same people is good- it looks intimidating, but they do break-down and describe the moves.

I love Neena and Veena, they're how I originally became interested in belly dance. The Goddess Workout Belly Dance Basics is okay, but her Beyond Basics isn't that great. Also, Belly Dance Basics: Learn How to Belly Dance is GREAT! It takes the ten most basic and most common moves and breaks them down step by step, gives history/background, and talks about creating shows and costumes, and even has a workout at the end of the video to help practice the moves.

I've had replacements because of my rheumatoid arthritis, and i belly dance. It is hard, but you can do it you just can't do it as fast or as strenuous you have to take lots of breaks.

it s amazing, these moves are beginner, still i havent seen some of them at all in instructional videos, maybe sometimes on great performers.. i love her unusual stance at not overisolatin, that s actually what oriental dance is like. not super super strict like most Americans dancers dance it, robot like.. just more relaxed :)
