This is a down side to Obama. Marriage is Man + Woman. Banning gay marriage is NOT discrimination:
- We shouldn't let a man use the womans lockerroom just because he decides he's a woman.
- We can't let a white male apply for a minority scholarhip because he's not a minority!
- We can't let two men, or two women, or three men or women, or two men and a dog, get married becaue it is NOT a marriage.
You homos are welcome to have your unions. But unless you are man and woman, no marriage.

YES ON 2! Marriage = Man and Woman, if you aren't married as man and woman, then you should not get the same benefits! All you heterosexual couples that are living together but not married, stop being scared and just get married! Then you'll get your marital benefits. If you are homosexual, sorry. Stay in the closet! Get it? Got it? Good! Yes on 2.

What the amendment will do will not only prevent gay marriage, but will also deny legal rights and benefits to man-woman domestic partners who do not want to be "married"

The issue is about gay marriage? I thought it was about protecting the family...
Republicans run massive budget deficits, give tax cuts to the wealthiest citizens, spawn hyperinflationary economics...choking the American family so both parents have to get a job just to make ends meet - pay bills, buy groceries, pay for $3.00 a gallon gasoline...
Yet the family unit is falling apart because of gay marriage? This whole thing is just homophobia hidden behind some P.C. veil.

If he really believed we needed an amendment to ensure children had both a mother and a father, he would be campaigning just as hard against single-parent child custody as he is against gay marriage.
