Eshams music is influenced by "many great artists". If you listen and know what youre listining to. But if you dont kno shit at least youre not listening to Eminim. Esham along with Natas produced the hardest/best shit hands down from Michigan during the late 80z n throughout the 90z. Nobody has produced such a raw cut n paste style of production since. Competition was better back then tho in general. Fuk who else was writin phsyco shit besides Ghetto Boys???
Brotha lynch and Sicx were writing psycho shit around this same time. Peep out their album called "Nigga Deep." Also Gangsta Nip, who was also from Houston like the Geto Boys. A couple others I cant think of right now. But Esham, Geto Boys and Brotha Lynch really started this whole shit. Esham did it best in my opinion.
Don't know if Esham was influenced by Spice 1(who is by the way one of my favorite rappers besides esham...but the Blaz4me cd was all west coast influenced that's for sure. And alot of the stuff from the west has been sampled to death...George Clinton and a ton of Roger Trautman. Clip and the Trigga was produced by Ant Banks.
don't know if Blaz4Me was influenced by Spice 1,but I could see it.I've read that E was influenced in his early days by Too Short and NWA.He's been jammin and spittin WC almost as long as the WC sound has been around.E is without a doubt at least in the top 3 most inovative rappers or even artists of all time.I'd also include Outkast and Wu-Tang.
he aint bittin shit funk is from the east coast and the midwest, west coast just blew up off of sampling funk before the D did but fools in Detroit were sampling funk long before NWA.
yo hot ass song, NATAS the shit fasho, but yo, if you listen real close theres a lil hi pitched whistle and a guitar bein sampled there, its that same sample from clip and the trigger by spice 1, idk i had to point it out, theres so much esham shit that sounds just like some spice 1, guess we know who eshams influence was
thats how it is in detroit, niggas listen to them hoe ass niggas down atlanta and them other city's and they HATE esham and natas guts and i.c.p. and others but they listen to blade icewood and cheddaboyz and streetlordz.
Yes! in fact many songs on the BLAZ$ME album sort of have that G-Funk theme goin on, mix it in with a little bit of wicked shit, and you've got one of the best albums ever!!!

i find it funny that esham is being said to be influencced by spice 1 cuz esham and spice 1 were 2 my favourites in the 90's.

If you listen to other Detroit music than Motown sell out Records, you'll see that we also were the innovaters of the funk...
