Those movies were awesome but I can't wait to see her acting as a college student holding up a store just so she can go on spring break and this movie. Selena can do it, she is talented and amazing. Good that she is taking over 2012, it's time to see something new.

I love that book and I did want it to be a movie, but I'm not really excited about it now knowing Selena will be playing Lennie - I just can't see her as that character or being able to act the part well. It does kind of bug me that she keeps getting her production company to buy the movie rights to books I love just so she can star in them, she did it with 13 Reasons Why too. Her being Lennie...I'll just wait and see if she can pull it off but I have no expectations. =/

I think Selena is a good actress, but if her so called fans don't start supporting her in her film roles jumping on as the producer as well will not even be enough to get studios to fund her films soon. I know Ramona & Beezus was not a leading role for her, but Monte Carlo was and both did poorly at the box office.

@missysulkin Not all of these projects are coming out in 2012. She has yet to begin filming on any of the movies and her tour of South America will likely come before she can begin any of it. When it is over by mid to late summer she will likely take a couple of weeks off and then start one of them and maybe a second one after the first is done and it will be the holiday season for 2012 and she will be off to be with her family and maybe get some studio time. Look for them more in 2013.
