hey, can you please give me the specs for the 851 and the 852 sprinklers? i need the throw and the pattern... you gave to me once before, but i cant find the email.
it depends on the pattern of the sprinkler. You can still get aftermarket full circle nozzles inserts that fit the 800 B body's.They are listed on eBay. If they are other patterns (ie half -circle, quarter, etc) you will have to either scan eBay pretty often or replace the spray head all together. Understand that if you replace one spray head that the new spray heads put out far less water than the Rain Jet heads did. So replacing all the heads may be the best option. Use rain bird.
I wqould like to purchase from your collection a RainJet 851 B full circle sprinkler. How much would you sell one for. With a water meter now installed on my home, I need a matching pair for my front yard. any help, please.
We've recently bought a house with a Rain Jet Sprinkler system but do not have operating instructions. Do you have any manuals for the system you could share?
@porchy1970 If your talking about having a sprinkler system with a Rain Jet controller or sprinkler timer, I would look on Lawn Genie's website. If it was sprinkler system consisting of Rain Jet components like sprinklers and valves, there will be no manual for it. That would be like saying "Do you have a manual for my house?" If it has sprinklers and valves it's pretty straightforward in operation, If you can't figure it out, I would strongly recommend calling a irrigation contractor.
I have 5 original boxes - 851C, 852C, 861C, 862C, and 866C. Are you interested? I need either the complete sprinkler or just the brass inserts for 2 of 852C and 1 of 851C. If you have any for sale I am interested. Please email and we can discuss details. tnr a t rt66 d o t com. Thanks.

Can you tell me who you purchased some of these from on ebay? I sold allot of these before. I also found one more 75C (out of the box), can you tell me the specs on it! I plan on listing it up on ebay soon.
I purchased them from a guy in Colorado, I don't remember anything other than that. A 75c should be a full circle with a brass casting that shoots water a max of 44 feet. Thanks
Rain bird makes one, I've never seen one at home depot though. Try ace or lowes. Also, the square comes with a sure-pop economy body only. Consider buying a rain bird 1800 body to upgrade while your at the hardware store. The 1800 does not come in square so you will have to buy the square sure-pop and 1800 body.
I purchased a RAIN JET series 800B sprinkler but the center brass piece is for rectangler patterns.. Do you have a brass full circle piece I can replace inside my sprinkler?
A square pattern will work in a area needing a circular. If you actually look at the square pattern when it is in use, you will notice it's more of a circle. The only difference between a square pattern insert and full circle is a hole, the square has 4 holes on the button, the circle has 3. Remember that a Rain Jet sprinkler has a much higher GPM output, than say a rainbird 1800. Thanks and feel free to ask me any questions.
51 is a parkway strip that waters 5x40 and a 52 is a end strip that waters 5x25. The 800 series comes with a flow adjuster on the head. I'm guessing that you are refering to the ones on eBay.
#66 being a medium square having a 1/2 inch brass casting. And a #73 being the second to largest full circle having a 3/4 brass casting? Sorry, I do not currently have any for sale. You can always use galvanized or plastic female adapters, that is what I use for the rain jet's in my lawn. I am working on some reproducing the brass castings.
Great.. This is complete units that upon arrival are operational correct? Let me know basic shipping and payment required.. Bank of America cashiers check ok or Pay Pal?
Nice collection. I worked at RainJet as a 16-year-old kid summer of 1957. My dad was production manager, and I was shipper, boxing up sprinklers for hardware stores plus warranteed repairs direct to customers.
John Hruby is pronounced like "ruby". He was a brilliant engineer, nice guy. John Drew and his wife were personal friends of my parents.

Yea it was easy to use. Right now I have a 12-station Toro. I'm a dummie when it comes to programming controllers, but this one is easy to program and I can section off all my lawn stations from my planters on different programs. I've heard good things about the irritrol timers too. Never used one though.
I got a lot of 6 brass rainjets. Not sure of the model, but they're 3/4" threads and all have a brass riser and pressure regulator on the bottom. I'm more into the old solid cast iron impact sprinklers, like you'll see in older parks and schools. Glad to know I'm not the only one who collects this stuff.
no I don't, most of the stuff I have is for/from underground systems. The 5 Buckner sprinklers I do have say IB100 and IB101. The 100s are full circle with large dual opposite nozzles, and the 101s are part circle with a 9/32" nozzle.
I have a small collection of irrigation products as well; a few Rain Bird SurePop heads, a 22SA rotor plus an APAS valve but the majority of my "sprinkler parts" are DIG brand drip irrigation products.
"Well, yeah, you get the point"
