You did an excellent job, especially considering it's your first build and solo flight.! I'm building a 36" Delta with Home Depot Pink foam. Just have to get the elevon mixing and I'm ready to go.

Good! man...that's the way to start rc. Me too, i'm self taught flyer. Probably too

proud or too embarrass to join a bunch of flyer a couple of miles away. I'm started practice with e-sky tx and FMS about 19 bucks, then built my first foamie jet, Dekan F-22 plan and fly away (also cheap stuff to started with). Like you I'm started with elevons!. Now I already built 4 or 5 foamie plane with complete control. Rudder, aileron & elevator. For me no problem there, i'll think

Just a few bucks for the foam and the cost of a GWS gearbox, glue and tape. I would guess no more than $15 total. Motor, servos, battery & electronics are borrowed from a old fixed pitch micro heli that was out of commission.
