  • thank you for doing this. I am doing my first custom and I am glad I found this vid.

  • You really need to use a sealer on those white spots cause sometimes the resin will turn yellow after a while due to oxidation.

  • i done this today on one of my classics:') but i done it abit different , i didnt use the tape:') xD it's really easy!! :)

  • whats the cloth for

  • Thank you sooo much I first was going to spray paint it's leg white but now I know to use that now than you so much

  • wow this really works? Neat I have a breyer I wanted to repaint. Ill give it a try.

  • (i'll tape him and do it as a response

  • I did it on Buck:)) He looks AWESOME

  • That is a great custom. I am going to make a video that shows my customs

  • can I show you my custom I did with the nail polish remover?

  • i prefer etching but still, tanx

  • nail polish remover isn`t good for the plastic

it`s a good idea butt i would use acrilyc paint

  • I would etch instead. I tried that once, and MY PERSONAL result was kinda messy. Check out CinnamonMewmEw's Etching tutorial. IT WORKS PEOPLE XD

  • so much easier than etching! im ordering a bunch of classics to practise on, thanks so much!

  • SOOOO MUCH EASY THAN ETCHING NO MORE DITCHES IN THE LEGS OF MY HORSES YEAH!!!!!!

  • awesome

  • Thanks for posting this, I am in the process of etching my old black beauty model and since he is kind of a textured model, i am gonna do this to get paint out of the places my x-acto blade won't fit into.

  • great vid!!

  • that's really neat!

  • i used this on my horse and it looks awsome thanks for this vid

  • im SOOO gonna try that!

  • dude i started making a CM stablemate by using the technique in the new JAH, but i really hate how the nail polish remover hardly does anything...since my stablemate is so small, it's hard to rub a certain area! lol!

  • oh look at my trade/sale vid cause i really like that horse! i have some vintages. :)

  • wow now i can make my horses have markings! thanks!

  • thank you soooooooooo much i tried it on my trad gelding, i'll post a video soon...

  • Me and my friend tried it on my rearing Flicka, it works great she looks fantastic!

  • That's what I was going to do!

  • i just tried that with an appaloosa stablemate, i wanted to take the black spots off, well it didn't work. i tried rubbing alcohole and 2 types of nail polish remover! why didn't it work?

  • ~ To 1Horsey4Me ~

I think stablemate paint is harder to remove, especially if its black!

  • thats cool i never thought about using tape good idea :)

  • im gonna try that

  • That is really simple and easy not like priming and everything to that effect.

  • GREAT tutorial!

  • Can I buy it from you?

  • ya

    (=

  • thats so coll. i am going to try it!

  • What do I do if I want the whole thing white? Do we just rub it with some toilet paper?

  • yepp

  • Huh..it dose work!

  • ya

    i didn't lie

    (=

  • Haha nope! =D

  • Thanks

  • Can i do that in a schleich horse???And can i do that with alcool?

  • um, in not sure, i never tried that...but alchol ussaly doesn't work, use nail polish remover

my guess is yes that it will work but im not 100% sure

  • I've done that for prepping before, but I have to say it's not very realistic. the tape is a good idea but markings are never that sharp and accurate they have hairing and blending into it. Also it removes the Primer from under neath the coat, showing the pure Plastic that sometimes does not match the markings that may have been on this horse. Other then not being realistic it looks Good.

  • ok, i personily think that it looks realistic, if u go on google and serch pintos, i have seen some paint with real clean edges on there paint marks so ya

  • That is your opinion. All there marking are made from HAIRS. and though it may look clean from far away, it is never TRUELY clean.

  • lol wow,

Note to self: Dont get nail polish remover on my breyers, their paint will come off! lol

  • wow i going to try it!:D

  • im gunna try on my flicka ! :D :O:O

  • *nice job ^-^ i never thought of using tape!

  • lol I d this a lot with some of my BreyersThats how I made keltic saliner hav stockings along with the help of an etching blade lol

  • haha you do this all the time.

  • Very Nice!

  • wow nice!

  • dats cool! howd you think of that? :)

  • well i used to use white out (ug) and i tried to get it off so i grabed some nail polish remover and wa-la!

  • cool! i'll try dat today on a palomino breyer horse :)
