@GTO19020 yep, i'm running a 150 shot with no issues on my 2v 4.6 and i have friends running a 175 but a 200 is risky business! i have seen some people pull it off with a lot of retarded timing and some extra fuel and it lasted awhile....hiopefully that mustang was tuned for that 200

Just out of curiosity what happened when it blew up? Was it from detonation or were the stock internals just not strong enough? Had he been runing water/meth with the shot do you think it would have still blown up?

Damn, that 06 was screaming when the nitrous sprayed. Gotta love the torque gains from n2o. But, he's going to need A LOT of major mods to keep that car together with that much juice.

the 05 and up gt's have a regulatory system that will close the throttle blades in between shifts. For instance those of us that want to powershift can't on a stock s197, as soon as you hit the clutch it will close the throttle blades. Both cars sounded good there was some detonation on the s197. It sounds like he needs to look into some better coils for his car. that much n2o on stock ignition will blow out the spark. there is alot more in that car a good clutch, ignition,n2o tune, & tires= :-)

My Mach was putting down around 550 in the vid. I think the GT was around 500.

Pistons and rods. The crank is good unless you have an auto then you'll need a forged crank.

Not sure what exhaust the GT had. It has basic bolt-ons, exhaust and spray.

The GT has gone 11.1 with a hellacious 1.4 60'. I've gone 10.8 bogging to a 1.7 60', but i have about 10 mph on him.

You both have some really fast cars but he had to have known the stock bottom end wasn't going to handle a 200 shot for long? What did your car make with that F blower on there? I've thought about upgrading to a D-1 but I have too high of a compression ratio so I just built a stand alone fuel system and added nitrous. Nice cars and good runs.

He did have a stock bottom end, but it let go in a big way a few months ago. My car made 630 with a conservative tune.

Good runs... that guy in the gt couldn't drive. He shifted into second WAY to early and bogged into third. That gt built for nitrous cause no way a the stock rotating assembly will take a 200 shot.
