I really like this version more than the recorded one. I like busting this out as a cover occasionally with the right crowd. Gotta be warmed up vocally to sing it though. Still, this version just rocks alot more.
When the tune gets to the interludes you could put Paranoid by Black Sabbath in there seamlessly. I have over 5000 vinyl albums and singles, a great resource for details of music and performers.
To be honest, i've watched this video 'bout a thousand times--mainly to see Jimmy beat the hell out of his drum kit. Don't get me wrong, I love Walsh and his works...it's just that Jimmy ROCKS!
@TheGeneLightShow That`s my point Gene. Obviously Kurt Cobain was influenced. Trio, "grungy" rock. Look at the way Joe looks and even the way he plays the guitar and go look at the Smells Like Teen Spirit video. It`s amazing, I never made the connection. Do you agree???
@Glasbrow You arent serious are you? YOU are saying that junkie asshole Cobain was INFLUENCED by Joe Walsh and the James Gang? WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SMOKING? AND-where can I get some of it?
@VoodooPolitico Eh yea. Just watch the video for Teen Spirit and look at the similarities. He even holds the guitar and sways exactly like Joe. And why exactly are you so incredulous that Kurt Cobain could have been influenced by Joe Walsh? Why wouldn`t a young aspiring rock musician be inspired by him?And that junkie you are refering to changed rock music in the 90`s spearheading the grunge movement. Like him or not, history will reflect that along with Nirvana`s influence on modern rock.
I don't know if Joe Walsh is nuts or fake crazy, but he is one of the best guitarist of all time. Awesome performance by the James Gang.

@TheGeneLightShow This is a bit later than 1966. The band was formed in '66. This is probably 1968.

@TheGeneLightShow: Learn to read Spanish. "formada em Cleveland, Ohio, em 1966" means "formed in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1966".
I believe this is actually 70

@PooPoo2U "formada em Cleveland" is Portuguese not Spanish.
