The creme white finish ia matt and looks the same than the beech set but it's a completely new developed colour... I tested it with playing cascara on the shell and you did not see anything- no scratches. I really love that finish and the touch of it.

Bought a S-Classix last november and it's sound great! I like the birch sound much more than the maple-shells but that's just matter of taste. Anyway, you people should try to get one of this fabolous S-Classix sets too, currently Sonor's doin' some kind of sell-out because they want to clear their repositories for this new series. Single rack- and floor tooms are "cheap" now. Sonor, you rule!

i got a tip for sonor let the drumbassadors speak in dutch that way germany holland and all english speaking people can understand it its way easier for al the customers to buy something if they can understand what it is greetz from the netherlands (ps great sounding drums )

Last year I bought a Force 3007 Smooth Brown Burst kit, many extras 24 bass, 8, 10, 12, 14 rack toms; 14, 16, 18 floor toms, 14 snare and 10x2 jungle snare... love them... I just wish it was easier to get in touch with Sonor regarding customer support, my 14 snare was out of round right out of the box, I was able to get a rim and head on it but it would be nice to have it right... sales guy heavily encouraged me to deal with it because Sonor is so hard to deal with in the USA... that's a shame.

@kevingoren They have a lot of them, my drum teacher plays sonor and several other people I know. Granted they are all endorsed, but my next kit will more than likely be Sonor. As much as I want to support the American economy...

@stevostingray as said before it might be a drumhead like benny greb sometimes does it or it could be just a circle cut out of a drumhead cause it doesn't fall of the snare as easily... but it would have the same effect... try it out if you have a spare head laying around ... just put it on your snare with the rim pointing to the ceiling

@c0d3x001 Those Brushes I Think are from Vic Firth, they are called "Dreadlocks" if im not mistaken, their under the Corpmaster Marching Series....pretty cool

Best drums in the world, no doubt. I'm proud to own an S-Class Pro kit, but these Prolites are making my mouth water. The snare throwoff is so perfectly designed,  why has nobody done this yet?!!

Gavin's playing is superb, and his technical knowledge of drum hardware and sound is unsurpassed.

i MUST know, however...is SONOR making and selling the bar attachment for his chimes?? check out 5:21 and you'll see...
