Man this takes me back over 20yrs. ago when I was there. It IS one of if not THE meanest /worst prison in this country. I taught English,Reading & Math to the other inmates. They considered me a genius as I could read,write and do math. I also helped start the pre release program.

aaaalphamale - if you were there then you should have some compassion for these people . humans don't belong in cages like animals . the american judicial and the prison system is nothing but a legalized form of slavery . most nonviolent offences could be handled in civil court . violent offenders could be separated from society for a time and then returned when rehabilitated . no one should be sentenced to over 10 years. this is cruel and unusual punishment.
