errrr.pls help..i got Terraira 1.1.2..so i downlaoded this program and there is problem i cant load my texture.. :( ? no i dont have another texture pack i go t the default

Derp. If you have the pirate version just move it to the directory it WOULD be in if you bought it. Simple solution people.

Just curious, does this tool show the map in real time? Ie, if you're playing, would the map tool update or would you need to reload it etc?

Mine seems to have corrupted my world files. The program stopped responding at one point, so I closed out of it, but then it couldn't reopen the file. When I went to play that world in Terraria, everything worked, but the character and the background are black. The HUD and icons still work and show up, but I can't see anything else. I'm using a legit copy of Terraria. I can't open the worlds in any other map viewer, either. Any suggestions?

@Shanook28 It doesn't open the files for writing, so it shouldn't be able to corrupt your worlds. Since Terraria just got an update, maybe try that?

I re-installed Terraria and it's working fine now.

@Shanook28 I put out a new version yesterday that supports the new patch.. but you had posted your comment before that, so you were using a version that would crash trying to open a 1.1 world.

The most common cause of not being able to use textures is because you're a pirate. Terrafirma uses Steam to locate the Terraria install directory.

@flameswilllive You need .net 4 and XNA installed. (Basically everything required to run Terraria in the first place). You should be able to just unzip the program and run it.

Why is it taking 30+ seconds to open? Starcraft and Terraria both open much faster.

@skasun I have both of those installed, yet my Terrafirma still doesn't run. I have it updated to work with 1.0.6. When I double click it, nothing happens. It worked with 1.0.5.. 0.o
