I read this book for the first-time when I was just eight-years-old; some will read it younger than I, some older. That's not the point. The point is, the book is art as with this ending. Take from either as you will. So, for me, I liked this ending, although it alters the very premise of William Golding's masterpiece. I say, "Good job! It was quite entertaining."

I wrote an alternate ending for this in my freshman english class.

I write how Jack commits accidental suicide after tripping over a rock and stabbing himself through the heart. And Roger attempts suicide but before he can kill himself Ralph comes in with a stakes and kills Roger.
