Most of these comments are being way too hard on the parents, the game was just a practice or scrimmage, coaches and staff usually let family onto the field @ practices. (You can tell it's a practice/scrimmage because both teams are the Rams). Also, the father comes running to comfort the kid 4 seconds after he got hit, so my guess is the kid wanted to play while remaining in eyesight of the father. The parents aren't horrible, you all just don't have great observation skills.
