  • 11!

  • 3 people drive civics

  • too much squeel would rather hear the rumble of that sexy v8

  • Turned the sound all the way up to eleven !

  • very very very crazy!!!!!

  • 3:17 dumb cops lol they don't know how to play hide and seek.

  • what a beautiful piece of equipment!!

  • i love that sound of a pontiac engine its so distinctive i cant get enough

  • I love what you did with this video, all TA's and hardly any music. Lets see one of the cars that kids put them "To Fast, To Furious" tail pipes and spoilers on these days keep up with one of them. Wait....they cant, because a 400 has to much power. lol

  • best 70`s car period

  • I was blown away by the powerful comedic acting talent of Jackie Gleason. I told myself, "This has got to be a re-berth of his career." Too bad the producers did not bring back the original director of Smoky and the Bandit to do the sequel.

  • My Dad was a business executive in a high-rise corporate office building but he had an alter ego that wanted to be either a farmer or a truck driver. When we took road vacations, he loved to take along the CB and talk to the truckers and share and receive bear sitings. "We got a Kojak with a Kodak." "We have a county mounty with a Brownie." When he took us kids to see Smoky and the Bandit in the theaters, he was right in his element.

  • awesome movie

  • Very well edited. Without the cheesy chase instumental music.

  • Sheriff Buford T. Justice and Junior disliked this video.

  • Not hatin 'cause I love the damn car. But think about it, a 400CU engine with 4 pipes in the back made 182 HP stock- Pontiac should be ashamed, a rice burner did better than that. No wonder GM went bankrupt trying to put those post 1972 cars out on the frontin' tip.

  • You would not be able to do all that stuff with todays cars...LOL

  • Sounds like a Nascar dirt track engine...that can't be the OE Pontiacs making that noise from a movie car...

  • car may be one thing but motherfucker can drive too now!

  • that 6.6 aint not shit tell you that much

  • Pontiac Forever

  • too bad he recked the transmission and never really drove it =(

  • look at my youtube name

  • @BanditV8racer

    Look at mine

  • @1977BanditTransAM hell yea brother

  • Back when cars had engines and they sounded like it too. I'll take a '73 Dodge Charger first but this sounds nice too.

  • That made my Vagina wet, And Im a dude

  • i wanted to be the snow man.. love the truck.. well hell i am a trucker now lol

  • Bring the 70's and 80's back! Bring people freedom back!

  • I can watch this over & over... better than Penthouse :)

  • my dad has the same car but red. for real

  • My hands off to the footage. SUPER badass JOB. First time I've had the priveledge of seein it. Thank you so VERY MUCH.

  • In the immortal words of Jerry Reed, AKA Snowman......"Honey Hush".

That car got more guys laid than anything GM produced.

    REMAKE THE MOVIE!

  • "When we get home I am going to punch your momma in the mouth." -Sheriff Justice.

  • i use to drive like that when i had my 1966 dodge charger built. i wish i had a trans am tho. but my charger was nice. its fun driving like that but i wouldnt recommend doing stunts in real life like that tho. unless ur pro

  • the person that disliked was obviously Sheriff Bufford T. Justice :P

  • @nanakii85 he must have gone and made another account to dislike it again

  • @er10b lol, I guess Junior did'nt like it.

  • @nanakii85 the second one was his son :D

  • @nanakii85 And his son.

  • are these 3 cars carberated or fuel injected? im aware i should know this, but i would like to have my facts straight and i think y'all could help me out here. thanks :)

  • @MrCollinsliam of course they are all carburator.

  • @FernandaDMA ok i figured, but i didnt know, thanks :)

  • Awesome!

  • Just like the General Lee--All that hard brutal driving an NO damage!!

  • the car is soooooooooooooo nice,a dream....

  • smokey & the bandit invented drifting check 3:50

  • i love this car so much !!!!

  • this movie definitely needs to be redone!!

  • that thing is sex on wheels I have a 78 T/A ;) its to sexy for a female to resist

  • damn when i was a kid nobody was cooler than the Bandit

  • @stylinnprofylin what about the Fonz?

  • Wanna buy a used car?

  • i like how he turns the windshield wipers on when he hits the mailboxes

  • Damn I wish cars sounded like this again! Even the new muscle cars don't have the sound of this sucker. This was one bad ass car!

  • @joevs21001 Its because the sound is actually that of a 55 Chevy with a tunnel rammed L88 aka the Two Lane Blacktop car. No stock TA sounds this good...

  • @e46s54m3 OK. Gotcha. I didn't know that. But that sucker did sound sweet in that movie!

  • Pontiac gave them 3 Trans Ams for the movie, a 77 403 auto, a 77 400 auto and 76 4-spd which they transplanted a 77 front end on. The burnout scenes and other hard action shots were done with the 76. One of the 77's was totaled in the the bridge jump. The other 77 was the main car so had to be kept as nice as possible. Hal Needham said by the end of the movie they were taking parts from one car to keep the other running and they barely made it.

  • @wfo76 Pontiac should have gave them 100 cars... you know how many bandit wannabe's went out and bought this car cuz of this movie? My uncle was a wanna be... he had this car

  • Bandit's TA was a 6.6 litre car. It would've had an Oldsmobile 403 in it.

  • listen to 455 awsome pontiac firebird.

The vehicles were, for the most part, powered by various V8 engines of different GM divisions. While primarily Pontiac-powered until 1977, Firebirds were built with several different engines from nearly every GM division until 1982 when all Pontiac engines were dropped in favor of corporate units.

  • music to my ears

  • coool !!!

  • 1:11 BUSTED!

  • Pontiac Cars were better back then... the newer ones are crap...

  • the new ones are still good.

  • its because their not pontaic now their holdens

  • no they are pontiacs, stupid moron. the g6, the g8, the Solstice? ALL PONTIACS. If you don't know anything about cars then just say so.

  • th Solstice ...its a freakin Opel GT/Staurn sky with a different engine any ting claiming its a pontaic after the eighties isnt a pontiac ...just a badge my friend the car it self is a Holden HQ look it up then you'll see your ignorance there hasn't been an american made car in about 25 yrs there al corporate sell outs the only car that can be considered an "american car " is a honda the only thing really american made is towels and fragrant sprays these are dark times

  • wow you're dumb its different than the Saturn Sky it was one of the first ones actually and the g6 and g8 are definately Pontiac before they temporarily discountinued. Now, they are Holdens. Learn to get information through your head. Pontiac, Chevy, Dodge, ALL American cars.

  • when they made the movie they had two trans-am's. the snapped the frame on one making the jump over the bridge. i think it was repaired and sold (someone loved that car)

  • I remember the first time I saw him jump that bridge- I was on my feet just whoopin like crazy

  • pontiac..specatacular.i have this car...

  • The story line and actors were so good in this movie that you tend to forget just how good the driving stunts and action realy were, and the car just speaks for itself, its a true piece of stunning automotive history

  • im sure pontiac likes this

  • I´m sure i like Pontiac. : )

  • I think I just orgasmed...Any guy who drives that car, like that, gets major vagina.

  • @lovepinkduhh cooter? for Burt? LOL I'd eat Sallys puss

  • "oh, you sounded taller on the radio,,,"

    Great movie - Gleason ruled!
