The thing is, Nick's comments about this were in relation to political issues and political protest. What we have seen on our streets recently was nothing to do with and cause or poltical protest. It was sheer opportunism, greed and crime - because the could, not for any poltically motivated reasons!

The problem with this video is that it's simply wrong. In greece we didn't have riots, what we have is HUGE peaceful protests that end when some very few people attack the police, and the police instead of attacking those very few people attack the whole protest, and throw tear gas everywhere. Those very few people who attack the police often have been proven to be friends with the police, extreme right-wingers etc, because the police can't stop a protest without a reason. :)
