@riyazparve its lagged a little initially, but the recent updates seem to have fixed it... its gift and curse is the size, so it depends on how you see it... if you luv da size then this is for you :) Anyway the screens very scratch prone... so check out my accessories video... order a screen protector right away cuz its mandatory for this phone... apart from that I luv it, I have 0 regrets with it :)

@PedroCarlosdoss s they do make the phone lag at times bt switch to check/rocket rom n u will see a world of dffrnce, I jst made a vdo on tips and tricks for the note chk that to see how smooth it is.

@aphroditelikesme I was just saying because all those widget at same time that will eat all your RAM and slowdown your phone, that's the reason that apple don't use widgets because iPhones don't have that much RAM to run widgets

Note: widget are videos playing in real time and they are interactive i.e. clock widget, weather widget, Callender widget, album widget, they all are just like flush

@PedroCarlosdoss yes man they look good and they are useful but they slow down your phone that's WY all those speed test videos Android against the iPhones are useless because the way those phones operate are very different you see iPhones are are slower but they don't have to load or run widgets, on the browser side the ios5 cheats on loading pages (full Web pages) by making the user think that the page is loaded but if you look on top were the signal strength is, icon loading

Have I made tutorials to help you ensure 30+ hours of battery life? Yup

So get your phone rooted, get a decent custom rom on it, and you should get 30-50 hours out of your battery easily with fancy transitions on.

The galaxy note has been a very successful phone, so dont you think if the s3 gets released the note 2 will be 3-4 months behind? say you wait the 3-4 months dont you think the s4 will be another 4-5 months from then? u get the picture....

Galaxy s2 and note are 2 different classes, check my review of the galaxy note, if you feel it suits you more than the s2 go for the note else u might wait.

When I make a vdo, I try to get across as much info as I can without paueses so that takes priority over checking my accent as I do this cuz I want to help not cuz I want ppl to appreciate my accent.

Hi i just got a galaxy note, and I installed the go ex launcher, however its so laggy compared to the default launcher, but yours seems like its running fine..........

@jackl1 Hi go launcher ex has a tendency to lag a bit, check out the next part of my video, thats what I say and recommend launcher pro...

Anyway with all launchers... If you want them as smooth as touchwiz

1. Keep the widgets low (dont have to stop using them but try not to have extravagant ones on)

2. Keep the transitions simple... say the sphere and cylinder transitions surely cause lag

3. Make sure u end unused processes and keep ram free

Try these n let me know if there are any issues :)

@aphroditelikesme Hi, I was using my Dell streak and i had Go launcher installed with alot of widgets on it also with sphere transition and it was barely lagging at all, i wanted a lag free experience hence i brought the note. Note running its default launcher is pretty fast, but even running launcher pro was slower than my dell streak, and the worse part of all is that the phone gets hot after 5 mins of game play. Do you experience these with your Note or do i have a faulty Galaxy note.

@jackl1 I had the lag too bro and I havent run launchers on my other phone so I was under the impression the launcher was causing it, anyway, rooted my phone, installed rocketrom... seems a lot smoother...

I already have a video up on how to root it follow it and then follow my video on how to install a rom on the acer iconia (its a similar procedure) to get rocket rom installed (Video being uploaded right now)

I am actually running the rocket Rom, and prior to installing rocket Rom my phone would get hot only when i play games, now the phone gets hot when i run normal apps, and the worse thing is the battery life not lasting half as long with rocket Rom. Is there anyway to check if my phones actually faulty, maybe i stuffed it up in the process of rooting it?

@TheOfficialUnknown26 Awesome Ill have some company then :) Just one small advice... walk into a store, spend atleast 10-15 mins using a galaxy note... the phone is indeed very large... just make sure you are ok with that... remember you will need to use 2 hands most of the times :) I love it though :)
